We all have minor annoyances in our everyday lives, right? From people asking for the time and tapping their wrist, without having a wristwatch, to people yawning without covering their mouths. People sitting in front of a doorway when you need to get pass, when you hold the door for someone and they don't acknowledge it, when people bump into you and they don't apologize, people who read things out loud when writing something, you get my point. There are some things which anger me so much in my daily life that I have absolutely no control over.

What's something that annoyed you in your everyday life and why? Is there anything nice that happens to you when you are outside? Thanks for chiming in, friends.

I don't get annoyed by much and it takes quite a bit of experience to learn to let most things go.

Saying that, there are two things that bother me.

1. When people lie to make themselves look better. There are people who claim they're in the military or claim to have all kinds of life experiences, or say they can do things they can't just to make random strangers think they're better than they are. I never got that. Heck, there's a member on here who claims to know seven languages. I reached out to that person because my wife speaks one of those languages and... nothing. No response, I was ignored, whatever. That's fine because I don't know that person and I don't care. But if they're going to sit there and say they have a skill, back it up and actually have that skill. And if it is that important to brag about something, maybe go learn it instead of just telling everyone and not doing anything to get better.

2. Complaining without providing a solution. Some people like to complain. They just do it to do it and there you go. I always say, "What are you going to do about it?" when people complain or whine about things. I'll back up the ones that have a plan. The ones that roll their eyes and just want attention and can't seem to find any other way to get people to listen to them..... I stop listening to them. What's the point of being negative if you have no solution. It means you're being lazy because you haven't thought of the next step to make anything better.

That's what gets me.

Ghostbear has explained what I was going to say about complaining.

1 When someone is in the wrong they know make excuses, and don't apologize to you. That is one way of showing you are not mature enough to handle one problem, and let your ego get the best of you. Instead of doing the right thing when you apologize it makes things a lot more easier for you to show you are being very mature about the problem.

2 When people budge pass by you when walking in a rude way, and not to say sorry about that. Its really low when they just keep walking its annoying when, that happens.

3 Another thing that is annoying when someone repeatedly does the same thing, and don't show any progress in the right way. Even though you gave them how many chances to improve themselves. Sure its not always easy to do, but if you think about it really well like. Everyone messes up on things, and do their best not to do it again. But, if you keep doing it people will get tired of seeing that, and won't bother hanging around with you anymore. It just depends on that persons situation though. '-'

2 things annoy me very much, and both of them has to do with consumables.

1. People who chew with their mouth open...oh...my...god! I just think its really not that pleasing especially if I, too, am eating any food. It shows no manners at all. The only food that I can tolerate someone else eating with their mouth open is gum, but even then it drives me insane. Its as if "chewing with your mouth closed" is not just manners, but its more of a rule. And I suppose that there are people out there who love breaking the rules, or that they seem like they think they are above the law.

2. People who slurp the last of their drink...I'm not sure why it makes me crazy, it just does. Sometimes even my wife does this, by accident of course, but that noise sends such a chill down my spine and it makes me really uncomfortable.

Honestly, I'm pretty irritated naturally, so a lot of things kind of annoy me. However I have to say the thing that really gets on my nerves is when people put their trash in the sink. Yup, that's right. Trash in the sink. It's pretty much ally my grandma, when she gets up to go to the kitchen to throw her trash away, instead of going all the way to the trash can she'll just leave it in the sink.

I'm not talking about trash bags or anything, thank goodness, I mean small things like empty pudding cups, wrappers from stuff, empty to-go food boxes, stuff like that. Stuff that obviously does not belong in the kitchen sink. It only really bothers me because 1.) trash does not belong in the sink and 2.) the trash can is literally about four steps to the left of the sink.

I've talked to her about it so many times, I've asked her to stop doing it and she still does it! When brought up she uses the excuse "well I can't make it". As I've stated the trash can is four more steps past the sink to the left. It really irritates me.

My pet peeve is when someone ignores me :p. I like to feel important and I like getting attention, so when I feel like I'm being ignored sometimes I go crazy. Now I do understand that people are busy and I do take that into account, but sometimes it's just too much xp. I've lost a few friendships because of this.

Oh and when someone is being rude to me and assuming stuff about me without even getting to know me first. That is really annoying and I usually just ignore that person.

I have a few pet peeves.

1. Horrible noises like chewing really loud, sneezing really loud, coughing way too hard, etc. I have misophonia, so it's not really an exaggeration to say that I go crazy when I hear weird, annoying noises.

2. Arrogant people. I have no problem if you're being cocky as a joke, but I just dislike cocky people who act and treat everyone else like they're better than everyone else, whether it be monetary reasons, accomplishments in life, etc.

3. Hypocrites. I don't like it when people say one thing and do another. Follow what you preach.

I'm just going to mention one. lol

You know how people enjoy correcting the typos and grammar of others and then they proceed to make even more egregious mistakes? Yeah… lol It's kind of funny and yet kind of sad. I don't really get upset or angry over it (I laugh sometimes if anything, sorry), but it makes me wonder why people won't work on their own grammar and spelling a bit more if they're truly serious about correcting other people.

Would you believe that half of them don't know the difference between "it's" and "its" and they still want to correct others on that? ^^0 I know my grammar still needs some work so I don't tend to correct people unless they specifically ask me to. =)

This is what someone told me to help me improve, so I'm going to pass it on. Whenever you encounter "it's" (the one with a symbol in it), break it apart where the symbol is and read the entire thing as "it is" or "it has." If the sentence sounds wrong when you read it out loud, then it's likely that you're using "it's" incorrectly in the sentence.

For instance:

The game cartridge was unearthed by "it's" owner.

The sentence above has issues because you'd have to read it out loud as:

The game cartridge was unearthed by "it is" owner.

Admittedly, learning when to use "its" is a bit more difficult, but at least you'll reduce your chances of messing up if you can remember to read "it's" as "it is" out loud.

I can't stand necroposting!
Some topics are like a month old and someone posts in it and bumps it to the top.... oh wait...

Ok, but srsly, I can't stand the celebration of stupidity in today's culture.
There are some celebrities that are basically famous because of how clueless they are (looking at you Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian).
Not only that, people are proud when they don't know something.
We should never hear "Well, I am bad at math, so I don't care. *laugh*" or something similarly absurd. (Can't think of another example, cuz these kinda things just really get to me and annoy me...)

My pet peeves are the following.

1. I hate when people insist you have manners, when they cannot be bothered to use them. Hypocritical, much?

2. When I am driving and I stop to let someone through and they do not acknowledge my generosity. And I do not mean with money or stuff like that,a simple nod or wave is good.

3. When someone asks,"What are you up to?" because you know they want something. Just spit it out.

4. When people do the right thing and are screwed over by others.

5. Anti-gun supporters. They drive me insane with their "logic". Guns are a tool, nothing more. They are not good or evil, only the person that is holding the gun decides that. And these mouth breathers seriously believe that if all guns were harder to obtain, there would be less crime. Criminals love anti gun authorities,it makes their jobs safer. BTW,do not attempt to break into a Swiss man's home,he will be armed.
