So I had a fun idea that's probably been done but I can't find...

Let's post our specs, so we can share with other people.

Ideally, you post everything, but the key parts are your GPU, CPU, etc.

For example, my new gaming laptop has the following specs:

Processor - Intel 6th Gen Core i7 @2.6 gHZ
RAM - 16 GB
GPU - NVidia GeForce GTX 970M

It has like 1 TB of HDD and 128 GB of SSD, not that it means anything to me.

So how about you?

Eniitan :

Your CPU is the Intel Pentium B950 @ 2.10 GHz.

Your RAM is 4 GB.

I can't see your graphics card information (GPU), but it stands to reason that at best, it's Intel HD Graphics, and it might be worse than that.

Okay...

CPU: Intel Pentium P6200 (2.13 GHZ)
GPU: Intel HD Graphics
RAM: 4 GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1
Hard Drive: 1 TB (Upgraded from 500 GB)

Yes, I know it sucks. It was handed down to me from my grandma and she isn't a very resource-intensive gamer (unless you count doing puzzles on Facebook as resource-intensive).

CPU: AMD FX-4200 with an FSB overclock of 15, and bumped up to 4ghz

GPU: MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB

RAM: G.Skill RipJaws X 8GB 1600mhz

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

Storage: Seagate 1TB 7200RMP HDD

PSU: Rosewill (maybe SeaSonic?) 650w

My specs are garbage lmao. I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I ordered these parts. I'm basically going to have to scrap everything except the PSU and HDD at this point, starting with the GPU. Never using an AMD GPU again. CPU was definitely my fault. The 6350 is decent, and the 8350 is solid. This is what I'm hoping to upgrade to. After that, I'll be waiting for AMD's and Intel's new line of CPUs to drop

BeastMode94: Are you getting a water cooler for your new CPU? Because you need to if you haven't already. Air cooling definitely won't be enough. That CPU runs increeeeedibly hot, thanks to the fact that it's basically a massively overclocked FX-8350

Ya'll think your specs are trash? Check these out XD

CPU: Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo 2Ghz

GPU: NVidia GeForce 9600M GT  512MB

Storage: Dual 250 GB HDD 5400-RPM (500 GB total)

RAM: 4GB  800MHz-DDR2

It's basically a stock HP Pavilion dv7-1183cl model laptop lol. Thankfully the hand-me-down this turned out to be was actually pretty nice for it's day. Back in '07 or '08 or whenever this came out, it wasn't too shabby for a mobile PC

And yes, I'm still running the Vista Home Premium this thing came with lol.

Desktop, custom-built, kinda old but still gets the job done:

CPU - Intel Celeron G1610 @ 2.60GHz
GPU - MSI Geforce GTX 650 TI
MOBO - GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H
RAM - 8GB DDR3/1333MHz - four 2 GB sticks (most of them are Kingston, there's one which isn't but I don't recall the brand)
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1 TB + external 1 TB for backups + a 320 GB one which had Windows 7 and is now put away for God knows what reason
PSU - EVGA 600W
OS - Xubuntu 16.10 as of the time of this post

My only concern is that I can't upgrade that old Celeron, I didn't had enough money at the time (nor do I have today). Also I didn't knew it was weak and that cache memory was that important at the time, I'd think twice before buying one of those again.

I've had this baby for 6 years now; it's an Acer Aspire laptop I got for Christmas.

CPU - Intel® Pentium® P6100 dual-core @ 2.0GHz
GPU - Intel® HD Graphics
RAM - 6GB
HDD- 250GB
Resolution - 1600 X 900
OS - Windows 10 Home

It's alright for gaming- I can run a good number of programs on mid to low settings, but I can't play games like Skyrim or CS:GO smoothly.

Just upgraded my whole setup and am really excited.

CPU - Intel Core i5 6600k [got a Corsair h100i v2 so I could overclock it easy]
GPU - ASUS Nvidia GTX 1070 [was going to get evga for budget but I got a good deal on this one]
RAM - G.Skill RipJaws X 32GB DDR4
HDD - 1TB [SSD's were waayyy out of my price range]
Motherboard - ASRock Z170 Pro4S
PSU - EVGA 650W Gold Fully Modular

----

Other than specs peripheral wise I got a two 24 inch monitor and Cooler Master Devastator II keyboard and mouse.
I also just got an Audio Technica AT2020 XLR and am waiting for it to arrive.

Now I can actually compile code and render games without everything being set on fire.

I've owned $2000 computers in the past and this blows them out of the water. It's an eMachine I got in 2008 at a local computer store for $300 or $400. Considering it has been on 24/7 since I got it I'd say this thing is awesome, durable and reliable compared to the garbage that you call HP, Sony and Apple.

Emachine
Win 7 64 Bit
Intel Pentium Processor
NVIDIA GeForce 7050
7550 GB HDD
4GB DDR2 memory

JigSaw : I used to own an eMachine back when I lived in England. Now a friend of mine has one collecting dust in his garage

I've considered buying it off him for $50 or something :/

Blubcreator : Might be worth purchasing if there are no problems with it. Mine still runs as good as the day I bought it. eMachines went under in 2013 so I think they are pretty much dead and no longer manufacturing them
