So I toyed with the idea of a new mod to help with this forum and nearly sent a PM to someone asking if they wanted the role...that someone changed about five times before I finally decided to make it an open offer instead.
That said I'm going to put out some guidelines before anyone applies. Fair warning: they will be far more strict than the rules for this forum in general.
1. Must be Elite+ (yes, that includes Staff)
2. Must be active. I want to know I can count on you to post here. No one will be added just to take up space on the forum mod list. You need to post at least twice a week
in this forum. Making one thread counts as making four posts.
3. Must love pudding.
4. Must ignore requirement number 3.
5. Must communicate. Don't go closing threads, sticking, unsticking, etc. without talking to me first. This is a very lax forum, and I don't want that to change. Period.
6. Must realize that technically there are only three requirements up to this point. If you don't, you probably aren't goofy enough to moderate here. It requires a healthy dose of insanity.
7. Must be in good standing with the site administration. Simply put, if you've been getting trouble (strikes, bans, etc.) recently, or made a name for yourself as doing such without having redeemed yourself, you need not apply. If you aren't sure if you fit in that category, go ahead and try. It can't hurt. Just don't apply if you know you've been trouble lately.
8. Be aware that I will not hesitate to remove you as a moderator if you start showing a poor attitude or breaking forum rules (there are like three of them or something, so that shouldn't be a problem lol). Attitude is a VERY big deal in this forum. Act high and mighty, rude, etc. and bye bye moddie.
Finally, please realize that if several people apply, it's entirely probable that favoritism will play a roll in my decision. It may not be fair, but I'm more apt to pick people that I know I can trust. If you aren't okay with that, please don't apply. Sorry, I don't mean to be a jerk, but I want to be able to be comfortable with my decision for a moderator here.
All applications should be sent to me via PM.
