Hi guys I'm back with another question so....if you got to redecorate your room what would be the theme for it? Like for instance some of you know for mine will be a purple coloured room with sailor moon theme. That's what mine is going to be like. I was going for yellow but then thought it wouldn't fit right colour wise. So anyways what would you do for your one? It can be based on anything that you like and love.

I really wouldn't have a theme for my "dream room", I would just have it painted light brown, maybe tan-ish. The trim would be either white or a slightly darker shade of brown (redundant and plain, I know) like coffee bean or something.

If pressed for a theme, I'd go with a religious theme. Like Bible verses printed everywhere and maybe a cross decal or some such.


Also, a Sailor Moon themed room?? That will look SO awesome! Ten extra points if you get a Luna plushie to go in it. :3

I would built a custom desk for my pc and put up some LED strips on the desk and paint the walls in a light color so the room is not to dark.

Eirinn : I see....it would still be to your liking lol. People have various of ways of how they would like their room and stuff. That theme totally fits you. And also I have 3 plushies not just one I have luna, Artemis and their daughter.

I WIn Also : Nice that sounds pretty neat. I'm sure you'll be happy to have the room the way that you want it.

It would surely be music. Because I like music of all sort...oriental , sufi....but I guess not many of you know about it.

I'd like an Arabian nights theme (similar to Aladdin). I love the fabrics, and the colors. 

abhisek : That's nice it would be something that would fit your personality I bet. Because when people do rooms they make sure its to what's based on their personality or to what they love.

I would probably have the theme color be blue or red (or maybe even both :3) with a video game theme. Probably random video game stuff because that's the way I am :v. I'm random and as you can see by my profile, consistency ain't my thing xp.

Well, maybe I'll have each wall be a different video game. And the bed and blankets would probably not have a theme but just be super comfy and warm x3.

ZeeTee : I'm surprised I was so sure you would go for a megaman theme room.....those ideas are good, but that's just least to be expected that's why I am a bit surprised. @.@

Yeah I know you and usual colours. So that does speak for you in a way with those ideas.

Eniitan : I would probably have a wall be megaman themed but it wouldn't be the only video game I have there :p.

If possible I would also like an Undertale theme :3. And possibly one Pokemon themed and one Sonic themed. Idk what I want for the other two walls so those are just ideas xp.

ZeeTee : lol that's so many choices that you have. But wouldn't be weird if you have too many different ones up? I guess you would probably like it since its based on what you like game wise. XD

Hm...that's an interesting question. I like the way my room is now, to be honest, but there's a bunch of different ways that I could theme it to make it more appealing to me, since right now there's a bunch of mixed martial arts stuff that was given to me, because my dad wants me to get into that kind of thing, but I'm really not a mixed martial arts kind of guy, even though I do train.

One option would certainly be just a general recolor. It's a really bright shade of blue and green, and while it's a lively, fun, bright, and generally happy color, I'd prefer a darker shade just so that my room has more of a relaxed and comfortable feeling to it. I'd probably do a darker shade of blue, just because it's my favorite color, and therefore the most appealing to me, and maybe rotate my bed so that it's perpendicular with my closet, that would give me a good deal more space, since it is kind of small and cramped.

Then, of course, I could theme it after football, American football, that is, because anyone who knows me understands how much I like the greatest team sport in the world. I'm actually in the process of getting a layout themed around it, but I think I'm going to have to wait a good while for that. :-| I'd probably put a bunch of Tennessee Titans stuff up, change the blue to be two-tone, which are the Titans' colors, and maybe put some posters of my favorite players up.

And then, another option would just be to take down all of the MMA stuff, since I really don't want, or for that matter need, any of it there.

I've also got to get around to fixing my chair...

Titan127 : I see you like some darker colours. As you said it fits to what you like so when people enter into your room there would a relaxed, and comfortable feeling to it. I think American football theme would suit you well since you are displaying the types of things that you like. And I would imagine you having that as well. Its always nice to have a room, that you want that fits everything that says about you. I mean that would be the main attraction of things. I can't wait to have mine done soon because I am really looking forward to it. When that happens I can start to get like sailor moon accessories to my liking, and put what fits where in my room.

Eniitan : Wow! Sounds awesome! I'd get anime, but I don't really have any one in particular that I absolutely adore too much more than the others, so I couldn't really do that. Sounds exciting to get a room remodeling though, and I hope it goes well for you! 

But yeah, I do like darker colors. They always feel more relaxed, like you said, and I like to be relaxed when I'm at home, so that would actually be really nice for me to have. I might just do that at some point, lay down some tape, get some paint, and make the room a little bit darker, but who knows? I'm going to be moving out of this house soon, anyways, so that probably wouldn't really be worth doing, going through all that trouble for maybe a year and a half of reaping it.

Actually, now that I've typed that and am rethinking it, that's more than worth it. But I don't want to spend all that money, so...not going to happen lol.

Titan127 : Thanks! I've been like the number 1 fan of the anime on this site, and still am. I really adore the anime so much, and I've always wanted my own sailor moon room. But in all of my years I had to share a room with my little sister. So now I have my very own room all I am now waiting for is a couple things, and when that's done the redecorating to my room can begin. Its so exciting, and I have never been so happy in my entire life! Its what I have been waiting for many years. So my wait is almost over just a little more time before my  dream room is completed. Darker colours do tend to give a nice relax feel. It is something which is good for people. You wouldn't want to go into a room and the colour wouldn't give off the right feeling. You want to make your guest feel at home. Even when your friends would go into your room. So its really important when people redecorate to use the right colours. So that their guest or guests would feel happy. I even know of some that would compliment as well on that.

Eniitan : I do love anime, don't get me wrong! But that sounds awesome to get to move into your own room! I've never actually had to share my room with anyone, so I'm excited for you to get to do all of that! Good luck once you get those things, and I hope that all of the decorationg goes well. I've never actually watched Sailor Moon, so I'm not sure what it would look like, but good luck anyways!

Titan127 : Thanks for the encouragement! It really does help. Maybe you should try watching it? If you do one day don't watch the one of today called sailor moon crystal. Watch the old school sailor moon it has many seasons. But I loved it despite how long the seasons went. My favourite ones would have to be up to 1-3. That for me were the best ones. Anyways I don't want to get off topic here. I hope the decorating goes well too I really do. I can only wait and see to find out I plan on having a purple colour so it fits perfectly well with the theme.

For me, a medieval castle setting. My bed being an elaborate throne, The gates are all my doors, the keep is my closet drawers, and the moat is my shelf. Simply enticing.

Ultrajeff : I find that choice very very interesting indeed. It seems it would be a great room for you to have since it would fit your personality. Or your likeness for certain types of things. I like medieval things, but not enough to have that as my room theme since I have already chosen one. If you do get to have that one day I would be extremely happy for you. Not many people would have a dream one because of one thing or the other.

To be honest, I'd probably just keep it how it is, although I wouldn't mind painting my walls a darker color, like a dark blue, or a dark red, or even black, just darker colors are a lot nicer. But I don't have anything amazing for a room. Just walls, and that's it. LOL
