Out of all the TdV records you have seen broken in your time on vizzed, which one is your favorite? Do you plan on breaking any TdV records someday?

I have been watching and competing in TdV's for 3 years now, so I've seen many records broken and it's difficult to decide on which one was my favorite. But I'm going with the time zanderlex broke the record for most posts toward the blue jersey in a day with 450 posts. (He'll probably see and respond to this thread ) That was pretty crazy and I was shocked that anyone could pull that off. Making 350 posts to hit Veneeval+ syndrome was the farthest I thought he'd be able to go.

I don't plan on breaking any TdV records but I plan on breaking my personal records someday. I think if I put enough effort into it I could break my record for most CP in a day towards the red jersey.

Yep, I'm here lol. I own the record for both blue and red.

The record for blue, the 450 posts is also the general site record for posts in a day.

However, when I broke the record Red, that's not the CP record. The day I broke the Red record, that was the overall cp record for a day, however the very next day I made even more cp, breaking the day old CP record, but most of it didn't count for the red jersey because of staff work and limits.

My favorite record is obviously the omnipotent green blob exerting his dominance with +400 points. It's crazy because it means an average of way above 10 points every day, basically meaning winning at least two jerseys everyday. It will be insanely hard to break such record, really.

I do plan on breaking two records, one for daily Yellow and one for daily Red. I'm sure they will also mean a general site record just like zander's Blue record. It will be quite some time until someone beats them, but since it's not impossible, I'm sure a few people will attempt to steal the record from me in due time. 

I would say....I posted so much to the point I didn't notice that I hit official posting spree and raving syndrome on the same day lol. I found that rather shocking but hey. Its the furthest I have ever gone posting wise. Sadly I can't remember how much I posted for maybe you can help me count that in please? @.@

zanderlex : Wow, you were even the first to post here XD Oh I didn't know about your red jersey record but I'm pretty sure I saw it happen. I knew your blue jersey record was the site record too, which made it even better.

EX Palen : Oh nice! I was barely active for that TdV so I didn't get to see it take place, but I did know that geeogree now holds that record. I'm excited for the day you break those records, it'll definitely be something to remember for a long time!

I was impressed that you hit Ravering Syndrome. If I created more threads that day I probably would have hit it too, but I'm satisfied that I hit Official Post Spree Syndrome that day too. The 116 posts I made was the farthest I ever got in a day, and I blew my previous record out of the water which was 88.

Pacman+Mariofan : Thanks lol at least I won't forget what day, that I hit them. Since I posted it on the tdv thread, but this was after I got the raving syndrome. I've never been so impressed as well. I was in a shock not sure if it was a good thing or not. It clearly said by you guys it was good that I hit it. XD

Eniitan : No problem! I also struggled to decide if posting so much was a good thing because it really wore me out until I got plenty of sleep. Plus I really didn't need to make that many posts since Zander was 31 posts behind me.

Also, I'm pretty sure that pennylessz hit a syndrome even higher than Ravering, which was Ravering+ Syndrome. Users can hit that with 200 posts and he made exactly 200 I didn't get to actually see proof that he hit that syndrome though, oh well.

Pacman+Mariofan : He did hit it. I remember well he was chasing after me for some reason. You know posting wise. Even though I wasn't really challenging him. Anyways if you know when to rest you won't get too burnt out. A lot of people tend too because either they sleep at the wrong time or....don't get enough rest. And food to fill for more energy. Everyone is different so some things would work to others benefit while for some others it wouldn't.  '-'

I had held a TdV record in the past for 450 days until Geeo decided to steal it, I mean, break my record. But hey, it's alright, as long I held it for a certain amount of time, it's cool. I knew it was going to be broken sooner or later, and it did.

Eniitan : Yeah, he might have thought you were competing because it's rare for anyone to post that much in a day without competing in the TdV. But I think he mainly just wanted to hit 200 posts which he did. I knew when to rest throughout my time competing in the TdV this week but I still didn't do it for long enough periods of time and now I'm experiencing effects of that.

The_IB122 : I remember that, and it didn't last near as long as I expected it to. I also knew your record would be broken at some point.

Pacman+Mariofan : Welp....I had not posted in months in many many months so when that happens. New threads will build up for me to post in. And there was a lot. That's why I was able to get so high like that apart from the fact I was using what I would normally do in vizzed. I think you might had forgotten that so I'll remind you in pm what they are. I think some resting would work for people. I'm no genius but it depends how peoples bodies are since everyone's are and is different. '-'

zanderlex : Your new multiplier will only give you +25% compared to what you earn now. I don't think it will make things as easier as you believe. Wait until you see my mark to judge.

And like I said, it's perfectly possible to beat it. Who knows, maybe when I reach that multiplier you talk about I could aim to break it

The_IB122 : Your record was more impressive because you battled it out with zander all month long, while geeo had no competition besides himself. Which also means we must praise zander for having the record for most points for a non-winner

Eniitan : I understand. I don't post much in non-TdV months (which I plan to change at last after this TdV now that I'm online more) so when a TdV comes around I also have plenty of threads to post in from the previous few months.

Yeah, resting works for me too, I just didn't do it enough

I agree with EX Palen, the best TDV record is easily geeo's points in a single TDV record with 415. That's a record nobody will ever break unless David decided to add a 5th jersey, which I doubt will happen.

Honestly the record is not unbeatable. I didn't really start getting points until the 4th or 5th day. Still, it would require dedication to getting 15 points per day on average in order to beat the record and that is not easy. I got really lucky with the competition I chose to be a part of in order to make that record at all.

Well, considering how this is only the 2nd Tour de Vizzed I've participated, or even really been around for, I'd have to say geeo breaking the overall points record with a whopping 400+ points. Though to be fair, he got lucky considering how late I started in the competition

I remember when geeo breaking Igors record it was a big thing. Its now up to the next person to see if they can beat it. As he said its not unbeatable you.....just need to obtain enough points to be able to beat it.

Eniitan : Yeah, I think that record will be broken sometime in the next couple years because there are many users that are willing to dedicate a whole month to earning points for the TdV and competing all day. I doubt I'll ever become like one of those users especially during the busy school year XD
