We all lie sometimes. It's kind of like some tool we use to put others at ease, even if we don't mean it, and at worst, a disastrous weapon that can lead to neglect, misfortune, pain, and misery. White lies are small, and are meant to be reassuring. We use them for the benefit of others and a quick way out of certain situations. Black lies are troublesome, and can lead to various problems, such as loss of trust, a bad reputation, dishonesty, taking advantage of the emotions of others, etc. It's a moral line we dare not to cross.

Do you lie much at all? Are the lies big or small? Thanks for your honesty, chums. 

Not all the time. It depends on the people who have called friends and family to believe that. There are many people who can lie and get away with things instead of facing their punishment. they want to avoid it as much as they can and so let other people take the blame and frame them. I don't like to like people who know me knows that. I come out as honest as anyone would want to be. Being truthful towards that person as well. But then my mother told me this. She lied about somethings in the past when I asked her some questions to do with my father. Its not as if she wouldn't want to do it. Its more like she didn't have a choice because kids at a tender age can't know and it would break them. So as I grew up my mother would be able to tell me. So there is some good in lying because your parents would be protecting you from breaking. When you grow up they tell you the truth head on because you will be able to handle it.

I normally lie when I think that telling the truth will make my life worse... but I usually never frame people. I lie the most irl since on the internet there's ways to track stuff so I find it easier to not do anything wrong on the web :p. That doesn't mean that I'm not a good kid irl but I'm not perfect either D:

The lies are usually small. I don't remember a time where I lied about anything big or important.

And about those "white lies" that are supposed to make people feel better about themselves, I sometimes do that. But I usually say "eh" or something vague instead because I don't want to lie.

I used to lie sometimes a long time ago, but I don't lie as much anymore now. I mean, everyone lies at some point, it's a fact. That's why we should all try our best not to lie if we think it's the right thing to do.

Nope, I never lie. Lying is a dangerous game in my opinion. Telling the truth and making someone cry is better than telling them a lie and making them happy. I want honesty, not perfection. I'm always honest, since speaking your mind is what matters I believe. Like I said, lying is a dangerous game. You might get into serious trouble, and you will surely get caught at the end, since the truth will eventually be discovered.

Lying is done with a person (a) is doing something they know is wrong or (b) is trying to show off and get attention for themselves.

I can't think of many other reasons to lie. I mean, I don't have to lie because I make the right decision based on the situation. A person doesn't have much more than their integrity and I don't care what other people think about me because I know the person I am. And enough people see me on a regular basis making the right decisions and doing the right thing that I don't know anyone who could challenge my integrity or honesty.

In fact, I was selected for my current position based on the professional view of my bosses that I operate with a genuine enthusiasm and I can be trusted to be left alone to make the right decisions to build a new program from the ground up. My integrity and honesty have led me to my current success.

On the flip side, I don't need to brag or show off. I know who I am and I don't care about what others think about me. This simplifies things because I'm not making up stories or exaggerating how great I am through lies I'll forget about later.

I tend to keep true to those I like, usually it goes if I don't like you, I have no issue lying to you. 
When I do lie I always sprinkle truth in there to make it more believable, when I was a child in elementary school I had the staff so convinced that I'm an honest kid, I just started lying and getting away with it.

Most of the time when I lie now it's a very small stretch of the truth, and I don't often realize I'm doing it, but people who I trust whole heartedly, and am friends with that lie to me, I have trouble believing them again after the first lie.

I lie quite often , but it's never something that's big, always something that's small, like I will lie about where I am. For instance, ill lie and make something seem more or less important to make it a better chance that I don't get a problem. For instance, if I'm going to a baseball game, ill say that I have to be at the game early or that the game was really long, so that I can maybe get something to eat at a restaurant before or after the game. It's always based on where in going and it's never something that's bad.

If i'm in trouble, i'm lying as much as possible. I know, it's not a good thing to do when you're in trouble... But if i need to admit something private or need to think of a solution to escape a problem, i'm lying. In fact, i'm lying right now too. But that's just to keep things appropriate.

I don't lie too often anymore. Used to be I'd lie about everything for the smallest reason to, even it was simply not liking you. As things are now, I'm pretty open and honest with everyone because I don't care enough to bother lying anymore. Though if it keeps me out of trouble or something with the family, I'll tell them what they want to hear. If I ever lie anymore, it's generally about the smallest things just to avoid any kind of drama. 

Yeah, like right now..lol....ofcourse we have to lie sometimes, because every truth is not to be told and flexibility is needed in our life.

I used to lie tons when I was a kid, I mean, what kid doesn't? But now, I can't even remember the last time I actually lied... Probably way back when I was in High School. I always like the "Honesty is the best policy" saying. I'd rather know the actual truth of something, rather than the pretty lie to make me feel better.

There are times when I'm not completely honest, especially on Internet stuff. Like take Vizzed for example... How many of you guys who've seen my profile page honestly thinks my real name is F? I don't consider that lying, that's just being security conscious on the Internet.

Well, I suppose the only times I do lie, is when I'm joking with family and friends, but it's only for joking purposes, and I'm about to tell them the truth in, like, 2 seconds.

For example, sometimes I'll have some ice cream sandwiches that I have every intention of giving to my niece and nephew, but I'll act overly suspicious and hide the box behind my back. When they notice I'm acting weird, they ask what do I have behind me back, I'll say, "It's just nothing." Then they run around me, while I keep trying to hide it, but they eventually see it, and they get ice cream sandwiches. That's about the extent of my lies.
