Fire Emblem has two games on the 3DS related to the storyline. Fire Emblem Birthright and Fire Emblem Conquest both involve you as the tactician/avatar/decision maker to play a main role in their army. However you can only choose one respective side depending on which version you have.

Birthright involves fighting along side with a new Japanese style army in the game.

Conquest involves fighting along side with the typical Fire Emblem style with knights, cavaliers, etc..

The question is which side would you choose and why?

I'd prefer Birthright, sir. I love Japan's culture and aesthetics, and I believe inserting it into this game gives Fire Emblem a new, interesting viewpoint. It's quite pleasing.

I loved Conquest, as I felt more in control of what I was doing in that game, but I really don't like choosing a side. I'd rather both families not have the avatar at their disposal, which is why I prefer Revelations by leaps and bounds over Conquest or Birthright.
