There are people who need to pick a choice of something. You cannot avoid it, it needs to happen.  I can't make choices fast myself, but what about you? Did you have a moment where you decided what to do/pick quickly and/or where you decided what to do/pick for a long time?

I'm pretty terrible at deciding stuff. Even if I'm just picking something like what to eat, I'll usually go back and forth between places over and over and just pick a random thing just so I can stop thinking about it. There will also be times where I pick something and then change my mind much later and do something else.

I decide pretty fast. If there are two things, I think about it, but I decide fast.

I decide pretty fast, you just weigh up all possible good and possible bad outcomes, if it comes to hard decision. And even easier is to set up priorities for your choice, what comes first and what matters much less. Always been choosing after high priority best outcomes. I regret nothing

It depends on the decision and the impact it will have on my life, the options available, and the thought process on maintenance and other factors.

So, for example, what do I eat at dinner at a restaurant? I look at the menu and in 30 seconds or fewer I have a decision and I order away.

What beer do I want to drink? That takes a little bit more time but I decide within a minute or two and I'm less thirsty for my quick decisions.

Now, take something like "What house are we going to buy?" and think about how long that decides. We have to get our financial situation all set, we have to look at houses available, we're competing against other people who are also looking for houses, and we're negotiating prices. That sort of thing takes more time for a decision.

The same goes for getting married, deciding on kids, and so on.

If it is a quick situation, I knock out a decision immediately.

Decision making isn't something I enjoy... Even with things as little as small talk, I rehearse everything in my head at least 3 times, trying to come up with what the result would be and what the optimal approach is. I don't know... Maybe I just have issues, but every decision I find myself needing to make feels like a commitment. After posting this, I will have deleted and retyped it with slight variation on phrasing and words used several times, and sometimes still wind up editing after the fact.

Not very quick sadly. I am slow and need time to make my decision based on what I am asked on. Like for instance when my mother asks me what do you want from Tesco. Those who live in the usa for you would be like walmart. But then I would say on the phone I am not sure. Mum you gotta tell me sooner so that I can make a list. So I am not too quick. I do try to be but I can't sadly. :/

When I'm forced to make a decision, I often want both decisions so it's hard to pick just one xp. It takes me quite a while to make a decision (time depends on how important the decision is). I'm just usually afraid that I'll pick something that will disappoint me and that the other option I could have picked would have been so much better. However, I'm able to make a decision quickly if absolutely necessary. I just tend to not pick as well, heh heh.

Usually, I can make a decision pretty quickly. It's second-guessing it after the choice has been made that is my issue. I often spend too much time debating what-if, after making a decision, whether it's good or bad.

As far as deciding itself goes, though, I make mine quickly.

I'm that type of person who often just makes a decision very quickly just to "get it over with". To me, this can be both a good or a bad thing depending on how important the decision is. You might want to spend more time thinking on more important decisions... 

However, I've never been in an actual situation where a certain decision I make might completely change my life. Other than choosing what undergraduate college to go to but I was forced to go to my second best choice school since I couldn't get into my first most selective choice (my parents would have forced me to go there anyways). 

My parents are mainly the ones who make more serious decisions. Whether it would be a decision related to their real estate business (like buying/selling a house) or something else that I can't remember at the moment... My parents are slow decision makers, but I'm the opposite. Maybe when I'm old enough to start making more serious decisions, I would know whether or not I'm still a fast decision maker. 

I use about a few seconds to determine a clear, logical solution to everything I do. Are you somewhat indecisive?

It's easy if I don't care about it. If I do care about it, it takes me forever.

So if I didn't care i'd just pick one or the other.

I'm a quick thinker, but I hate making choices, I doubt I'd be able to easily pick between anything if I'm given a lot of time.

Given the choice between blueberries or bananas though for instance, right before checkout I would probably throw the bananas in.

I'm not the best at decision making. How quick I can decide is based on what I'm deciding. For example, deciding what to wear during the day doesn't take long for me at all unless I'm running out of options. But if I need to make a bigger decision like whether to talk to someone, I seemingly can't make up my mind for a while and it takes longer than I feel like it should.
