Mama is the main character of the Cooking Mama series. Does she have a real name? Who knows, but she doesn't seem to mention it. She has brown hair tied up in a pink bonnet. She always wears a white shirt with a yellow apron.

In the Cooking Mama series, Mama teaches the player how to make various dishes. She gives instructions to the player who then has to perform various steps in preparing the dishes. She is always optimistic and encouraging to the player, even when things don't go well. If a step is completely messed up, she reassures the player with "Don't worry, Mama will fix it!"

Mama appears in a total of 5 Cooking Mama games. Additionally, she has a spin-off game called Gardening Mama where she teaches the player how to grow their own garden.
