Well, a few days ago, a new trailer for Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice was released, which can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmITKKx8p9I

Honestly to me, it doesn't matter how many times Sega tries to make a good Sonic Boom game, it's just not going to work. I was foolish enough to get Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric when it came out (yes that actually happened, don't judge me), I'm not making the same mistake again with Fire & Ice. For those of you who care, it'll be coming out on September 27th, 2016. I really hope this isn't the only Sonic game that will be coming out during Sonic's 25 year in the gaming world, because this could actually be a worse year for him than his 15th anniversary when Sonic 06 came out...

Well, that's enough of what I think, now I'd like to hear from you, will you be buying Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice?

Im calling quits on Sonic tbh, we had a good run, but until we get a GOOD game from actual experienced developers then I'm out. Also with a name like Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice, I just KNOW they will make the mistake of putting ice physics IN A SONIC GAME. Quote me on that when the game comes out.

I remember seeing like reviews about this last year. I already stopped liking anything modern to do with sonic the hedgehog for that reason. But it doesn't mean that I don't look at updates to see any improvements with the franchise but it seems things are just getting worse as it seems. Its like the developers have forgotten what its truly like to make a sonic game....

My opinion not shared by many people, is that Sonic should never leave 90's
Most of the games from 2000's and beyond are honestly bad
The Sonic 2006 dig the grave, Sonic Boom finished it, I already lost the faith on Sonic games so I don't get any surprise from this one

Here's my view of the franchise:

1991-1994 = Great games

1995-1997 = Sonic died

1998-2005 = More good/great games!

2006 - 2009 = .....eh.

2010 - 2014 = Oh my gosh Sonic games are getting good again!

2015 - present = Sonic died again...

Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations are awesome, and Sonic Lost World is alright. Sonic Boom games are just a big no. I'm not getting any Sonic Boom game. I just want my 25th anniversary game please. ;~;
