Alright so everyone loves rules, right? No? Too bad.
We need them because frankly, until now not many have understood just what the juice this forum was for or how it worked. To keep from boring those who know what the forum is for, the rules will be listed first, and the purpose will be listed afterward.
Rules:
#1. All character bios must be at least 100 words
#2. Additional information about the characters outside of the game is allowed, but it should not make up more than 10% of the bio, unless the game character is a direct portrayal of a real person and has no story in the game (such as a sports game), in which case up to 75% of the content can be about the character's real life counterpart.
#3. No plagiarism. You may quote outside sources but the quotes must be cited (tell us who the quote or information is from), and must not comprise more than 10% of the bio.
#4. No spoilers. For example: If someone dies in the game, their bio shouldn't say so. No details that spoil the story of the games for the reader should be included at all. And no, saying "spoiler warning" doesn't make it okay. (Added 8/14/16) #4. Because of a joint decision by me (ZeeTee) and Minuano, we've decided that we will allow spoilers in the character bios here. HOWEVER, if you do put spoilers in the bio, we require you to do one of either thing. You either have to put [SPOILER] in the thread title, OR with any piece of info that has spoiler info, you need to tag that info with the spoiler tags. You can also do both of what was mentioned if you feel so inclined.
Forum purpose:
The Game Characters forum is here to host bios made directly from game character pages in the RGR and VGR. These bios are meant to describe the characters, their personality, their history, their traits, or whatever else you can tell us about them to give us an idea and preferably insight into who they are and what they are like. Think of it as something of a mix between biographies and reviews.
An excellent example of how these bios should be written can be found

Thanks for reading, and if you have any questions, feel free to PM one of the Local Moderators of this forum, currently myself and gamerforlifeforever2.
Now go write informative stuff for the Vizzed masses.
