Interesting. I'm showing up as immune now. How long does that last? Nevermind.... i read the post again and I see where it says immune for 24 hours.

This is entertaining. I have no idea how to actually manage to stay away from getting it and I don't really want to try. It would be fun if you got some reward for not getting sick while still logging in every day or something.

I literally just looked at the new posts page once and I got InViZeCtEd already. lol This is so hard to avoid when you're not immune.

For those of you who are trying to not get infected, you have to completely avoid the new posts page and the vizzed market. (You have like a 85% chance of getting infected there during the day/night) Other pages still have the risk.

So basically you have to stay either in index pages or the old layout to not get infected at all. Good luck not browsing a lot of vizzed pages.

(Not sure what's the point of avoiding it though)

I tried so hard to avoid I was doing so so well. I accidentally hit new posts when I was meant to hit the board. and....welp I hoped I didn't get infected and....moha sadly told me I was. And this is the second time I caught it...welp I can't wait to get to immune stage again so I can just freely go around the boards before hiding again. I know how to hide if that accident didn't happen I would still be normal by now. But then things happen when you least expect it. '-'

That's why my nose is running today. Though it was the allergy playing, but no. Hope i can get some pills for it.

That's a cool little experiment. This actually reminded me of the whole WoW plague that happened several years back so I was suprised to hear you mention it. Though in its current state it seems a little bit overpowered since it's able to spread so easily and it seems near impossible to be able to avoid it unless you just stay on the "safe" pages since you won't know if someone who has it is on another page. So I don't see it disappearing any time soon. Regardless I still find it interesting though.

What I think could maybe be cool is if you implemented some sort of leaderboard. Like perhaps how many pages you can visit without contracting it since you're planning on making it permanent. I don't know hard that would be to program and it may have some exploits to it but if possible it might make for a fun addition. 

Its like near impossible to escape this. Somehow or someway you will get infected again. As its spreading fast like some wild diseases....I can only hope we all get well and out from this very soon. Keep trying to avoid at all cost you guys. Even if its going to be hard to do it. :/

Zlinqx : Like I said, I'll be making modifications to it so that it's easier to avoid and so it can go away. At the moment with the way it's programmed, it would probably never go away and users would just keep getting reinfected.


I actually did think of putting together some fun stats and a leaderboard is a possibility. Stats would include:
-How many times you've been InViZeCtEd (and who has obtained it the most and fewest)
-How long you've gone without getting InViZeCtEd (and who has gone the longest)
-How many users you've given the InViZeCtIoN to (and who has given it to the most users)


A few things I plan to do that'll make it less likely to spread so easily include:
-Increasing the amount of time you're immune to it from 24 hours to possibly up to a week.

-Make it so that if you've been InViZeCtEd in the past, landing on a page with someone who has the InViZeCtIoN doesn't guarantee that you'll get it again. Instead, make it random, maybe something like 1 out of 10 or maybe make it so that the longer you've gone without having it, the higher your chances (so if you had it within the past few days, your odds are really low but if you've gone a long time, your odds increase).

-Make an item in the item shop that makes it so you can't get it (or it just greatly reduces your chances).

-Making it so that you have to land on the same exact page as someone else rather than just the same type of page. In other words, if you were on this page https://www.vizzed.com/market/listings.php?type=Digital and someone who had it was on this page https://www.vizzed.com/market/listings.php?type=Digital&location=Nintendo, you wouldn't get it, even though you'd be on the same section of the site, you'd have to be on the same exact URL.

Just a random minor idea... Users who get infected and is on the first 12 hours should also have the numbers in their username capitalized to a symbol. (Like 1 would be !, 2 would be @, 3 would be # and so on) That way usernames with lots of numbers can appear more infected. (and vice-versa if a username has symbols instead)

For example, my username would be MoHaMmEdRoXx# in the first 12 hours where a capitalized "3" would be "#" on a keyboard. 

Seems like a fun idea. 1 invizection, so far.
