Apparently one of the new Marvel comics writers decided it was time to shake things up for Steve Rodgers, and by that I mean writing his new comics with him as an agent of Hydra.

I myself don't really know how to react to this, it could lead to some great stories, but also a lot of confusion as well.

What do you think?

Current Marvel comics kind of suck though. There is too much trash that they do to pander to people who don't like/read comics, and constantly spit in the faces of real fans.

That is just wrong,Captain America to Marvel is like Superman to DC. Captain America is supposed to be the ideal man,the ideal soldier,not some Hydra agent. It could be an undercover thing,or just some shtick,but there are things you do not mess with,and Cap is one of them.

The thing I don't like about this is that Marvel claims they've been leading up to this the whole time but I really don't see the supposed hints they were dropping. But I believe it can still be a good story. Marvels had a pretty good run lately.

If this fails they can come back with the new Wolverine story line coming up. We'll be getting Logan back from the dead soon enough.

Let Old Man Logan have some more time in the spotlight before Wolverine Reborn and then Crisis of Infinite Wolverines.

I can understand if they were to do it in another earth like with Reed Richards and The Maker but unless they are planning another Secret Wars it's unlikely. Otherwise we're witnessing a game changing moment in comics. Bucky Barnes's return would be the closest comparison I could make.

I was going to post in this thread but forgot too. I find it werid...since I am used to how captain America is. But to have him as a villain? That would mean it changes a lot of things. And I wouldn't want to wing that way. Lately it seems comics are not as good as they used to be. Or it could just be me. '-'
