What's your thought about Pokémon X, Y, and Z? Do you think the creator and developers would make Pokémon Sun and Moon series? Also make sure hide your spoilers about current series.

My thought about X, Y, and Z. It's funny to see Clemont's explosion running gags. It's better than spamming Cilan's "Evaluating time!" and Iris's "What a kid." quotes in black and white. Nothing beat Brock and his love for women with Max, Misty, and Croagunk torturing him. That's for sure.

I'm pretty sure the Gamefreak and Pokémon companies will think of something after releasing Sun and Moon.

To be honest I stopped watching the anime when the Sinnoh was over.......I died with Brock leaving. So I really can't answer any of those questions since I haven't seen the new ones, all I can say is that Ash is still 10..........and will probably continue to be 10 for all eternity

Ash in Unova region (Gen 5 ) is probably a worst series. Iris, who dream to become dragon master, and Cilan, a gym leader brother of Cress and Chili and is an A-class Pokémon Connoisseur.

In Kalos region, It is slightly better. There's 3 characters traveling with Ash. Serena, She is a Pokémon Performer and has crushed on Ash since childhood, Clemont, a electrifying gym leader and inventor, and Bonnie, a mini-Brock and Clemont's little sister.

Of course they have to make a sun and moon show.

I loved the first 3 gens for the shows, but I stopped watching after that and skipped Gen 4 and 5 but then started watching it again with Gen 6 and I love it.

livingston is right. I stopped watching pokemon years ago because of how boring the plots became and it didn't stick with its original plot which is why the original will always be the best. I don't plan on ever watching pokenon X and Y. I'm quite happy with being as far away as it as possible. '-'

In general I find the Pokemon anime okay. True, Ash is annoying, with all of his "I wanna be a Pokemon Master!", "I'm Ash from Pallet Town in the Kanto region!" etc... Why, Nintendo, why?! There are trillions of other trainers better than Ash (heck everyone is better than Ash). Example? Red. Ash claims he will catch all of the Pokemon, and today he still didn't even catch a Bidoof, a Ratatta, a Magnemite, or even Ralts. As for Red, he caught them ALL.

Removing Ash from the series would make things worse (kids would get angry and stuff). So what do we do? Just give him a brain, it's that simple. True, he has matured after the beginning, but still.

All of the seasons are okay except for the XY series. For some reason I love it so much, and I still have to catch up with the newer episodes. I like Clemot, Bonnie and Serena. "The future is now thanks to science!!"

I actually really like the anime series. The original I love and have watched every episode, and I catch a random episode or two of the newer series every once in a while, and I honestly think it's a really good show.

Ash gets too much hate for being "dumb". Sure, he's not the brightest, but that doesn't mean he's a bad character. He's shown to be compassionate, understanding, hell even clever and witty at times. Then again, do you want a Pokemon series where the main character curb stomps every battle? In my opinion, I don't think that would make for a very good show.

The side characters are also really fun. Even the one off characters like the gym leaders or elite four have a good personality to them and reflect the game's depiction very well, something that's not usually prominent in other shows.

Especially the mini-series, Pokemon Origin. I think that series was the absolute best of the anime in just a couple of episodes. It was fast paced, emotional, well written, the characters were amazing, the overall atmosphere and feeling made me think "yeah, this is what the Pokemon anime should have been", but thinking it over I think the part that made it so special is that it was short. Expanding Pokemon Origin to the span of 50+ episodes per series would be stale and boring. It works as a stand alone thing, and the long running anime has a good thing going for it, and it makes it work.

the XY and Z anime is super underrated and a lot better this time aroung for a load of reasons, and this comes from someone who used to hate the anime :
ash grew up from his dumb crybaby over determined stupid in battling character and is now a more serious guy with a solid team, and unlike any generation he beat all the gyms in his first try except the first and the last, and it's the first time he makes to the finals of a pokemon league, but as of this posr it is still not confirmed if he won or not.

I haven't watched the show on a regular basis since the very first season in Kanto, outside of a random episode every now then when the new ones air on Saturday morning ( actually, I think one airs in about 45 min or so ? ). I just couldn't really stay in to it, and I guess that's normal considering my age now / at the time. I will admit the new season is better than the one with Cilan, as his constant "connoisseur" crap was extremely annoying. Unlike most people, I actually like Serena to some extent, at least better than about half of the girls on the show so far.

I'd say it's one of the better seasons, but I do miss quite a bit from the original first 2 or 3.

Not to mention that Clemont keep saying "I told you a million times" to Bonnie and Ash say "Science is so awesome!" many times. lol
