Being an easygoing person, I'm not really into politics nor do I care too much about them even though I probably should since it kinda is our future. Especially with someone like donald trump running for president. Some people would even go as far as to call him megalomaniacal.

Not really but some may grab your attention. I won't ever get into politics but there are some news on them I am willing to hear if its for our futures and stuff. I don't really like it as I find most of it not of sense. And some are ok and in sense to help people. :/

Final Weapon : Why does being an easy going person exclude you from politics?  Political discussions and ideas and thoughts don't have to be mean, emotional, or with a lot of yelling.  You're missing out on an important part of life if you think you're too laid back to be involved with something.

Politics takes energy, but so does everything else.  And politics control our fates, basically.  Why does the United States have free public school for most communities?  Politics.  Why are we so dependent on gas instead of other fuels?  Politics.  Legislature controls the internet, website content, shared games on Steam, and every other aspect of your life.

It doesn't hurt to follow what's going on around you.  You'll be a smarter, better person for it.

Politics is something I am quite keen on especially when it is about world affairs. Also since it is very close to the Scottish elections I probably won't be able to get away from it any time soon.

I honestly do not care for politics at all, it's full of lies and corruption to me and I don't like that. Not only that I really don't like who will be president or has a good chance at being it.

I am into politics because if I'm not then the government seems to just do whatever it wants. I'm learning this more and more on the local level. It doesn't take much pressure to get the government to stop doing certain things but if people aren't paying attention then the government will come along and do whatever it feels like. I dislike that a lot. I wish people were even half as invested in politics as they were with their favorite sport or TV show. Things would probably be a lot better for people if they were.

Perhaps it would have been more appropriate for me to say that I don't like politics because I probably would't be very good with handling the potential debates they bring fourth and other things pertaining to it. To be honest, I would rather sit back and watch them, rather than actively participate in politics. But now after reading your post, I don't think it would hurt to get a little more into them. Those were all pretty good points you mentioned, too.

I'm kind of into politics. I know I should be more invested, but it's hard to muster the energy to care anymore. Even if you know something is wrong, and wanted to do something about it, there's so much red tape and loop holes. I've considered trying (local to state-wide) politics, but I feel the fact that I have 2 misdemeanors on my record would almost instantaneously keep me from having any chance whatsoever from ever winning an election. Most people would look at someone in politics with a criminal background and just think "Oh wow, just another crook. This one actually got caught for once."

I prefer to actively participate in politics and such as long as it promotes a positive change amongst societies. If politics are meaningless I will refuse to show any sort of interest in them after all no change is sometimes necessarily better than a negative change. So I guess yes I'm into Politics and such.
