Personally, I prefer anime if only because it's so much easier to access. If you look up an anime online, various websites will have it readily available to watch, while a person who is trying to find a manga on the internet will generally have to search much harder and possibly not even find said manga, which is frustrating. Basically, in order to get to a manga, one will normally have to pay at least some money, whereas to get to an anime, you just have to watch three or more minutes of ads on most websites, or none on youtube for a few of them, although it is only a select few.

I do like reading manga though, it's a lot more immersive than the anime for me, and you can miss a lot in an anime that's based on a manga. So really, quality wise, I'll take the manga, whereas quantity, convenience, and accessibility wise, I have to go with almost any anime by a landslide.

Of course, there are those few exceptions where the anime is much, much worse than the manga, at least probably, but I haven't actually run in to a case like that as of yet.

Anime is easier to access, as it is in video form and more video sites exist than those that have to scan in pages of a manga.

I read more manga however, because the things I like are so much better in manga form, and it's much easier for me to get into.

I don't watch many animes, but I try to stick with those that are English, so it is harder for me to find some because most of them are in Japanese, and some don't even have the subtitles.

Hm. They both have their pros and cons.

Manga is much faster to get through a series than watching episodes. It takes me about an hour to read through a volume of manga, which covers about 6 episodes or so of an animated episode, so I save a lot of time that way. However, sometimes with manga, the action seems a little all over the place, sometimes I have to go back a few pages and wonder, "When the heck did he get that thing?" or, "Wait, where did he hit him?" Whereas with animation, it's usually more fluid and easier to see. Also with animation, if they have good voice actors, it can really ramp up the emotions and help us feel more for the characters.

I also do like mangas because they tend to be more explicit, which they usually tone down for the animes. Kind of like Berserk. Yeah, the anime is still pretty horrifying and immoral, and super messed up, but it's not even close to what the manga shows... Seriously... WAY bad stuff...

So, I like them both... But if I had to choose... I'd say anime. There are some animes that I don't really have time to sit and watch for hours, so I'll read the manga instead, and watch the anime later when I have more free time. I like noticing the differences between the anime and manga.

But, if I didn't have to choose, I'd say both! I love anime (mostly older animes) and manga! And I still enjoy both to this day.

I prefer anime as long as it's decent, and usually I only pick anime anyways, so regardless I wouldn't read a manga if the anime was the first thing I saw and I thought it was garbage.

The only "manga" I'm reading and have ever read is the One Punch Man manga, because the anime intrigued me too much that I couldn't wait for season 2 lol.

Eh.....this is going to be hard I'm not going to say what many members have posted. I would say both for me why? Because I like to balance them out both since I don't like picking one from the other. Anime and manga have their own special charms, that draws people to them in a way. If I can't find something in anime I go to manga, and if I can't find for manga I go to anime so it works well for me to fit pieces for what I would be looking for. So they both help in a very big way which is why I wouldn't choose just one.

Although I do like my Anime, I'll read manga most of the time, since it uses less data then watching anime, I can read manga anywhere and anytime on my phone, and I read manga faster than I watch anime.

In some cases, though, I like the anime more than the manga, so I'll just watch it instead.

Most of times Manga is much better than anime. Great example will be One Piece, the drawing style in manga is 300 times better than in Anime.. It's sometimes very agonizing to watch those episodes when all characters are drawn so hasty and they look like a lump of garbage. But then again Attack on Titan is so great in Anime and in manga those characters does not looks so good compared to animated versions of them.

I prefer Anime of course, i never become a manga reader, like, i read like 5 volumes of Naruto back in the day and didn't read anything since then. Its just, anime makes it feels like less work to do you know, like i dont really wanna read 300 pages of manga which took me like 2 weeks to complete, if i can just watch 50 episodes of anime which took like a week or so. I hope you get the point tho xD

Honestly, I prefer anime over manga. It's just like how I think with movies and books: If there is a moving picture version, and if it is easier to imagine, then it is better in my opinion. That is, unless the anime or movie is awful, hehe.

Which is more enjoyable would be highly debatable for me but most convenient and accessible is definitely anime. From what I've seen it's generally agreed upon that for most series that have both a manga and anime version the manga will usually be superior. Notable examples of this are some of the most popular animes like One Piece, Bleach or Naruto. Yet I rarely end up reading the manga of said series because I'm too lazy to do so or sometimes just too tired from having to do other things (or just losing interest in the show in some of these cases). It's nice to be able to kick back more and watching an anime without having to activate your brain as much. The only times I'll usually end up reading the manga is if it's something that doesn't have an anime adoption (like is the case with Pokemon Adventures for example).
