When I visited my grandfather today, I just so happened to notice that my dog named lucky wasn't anywhere to be seen, so I asked where was he and my grandpa filled me in on some pretty devastating news by saying my pet got killed by another animal. A pitbull presumably because there are plenty of them roaming the streets around these parts, and they are pretty dangerous breeds at that. But there's no way to be certain as no one witnessed it. Man, my heart really sink when I heard that. I had him ever since he was a small pup. Now I know to some people pets may seem like nothin' more than property, but to me, mines was a irreplaceable friend--one of few I ever did have. He'll greatly be missed...

Shoot man, that's horrible. I've owned 2 dogs so far and when one of them died it was one of the worst feelings in the world.
They're such beautiful, loving creatures and to see them go just like that is heartbreaking.

It's heartbreaking to hear about things like this. And I can't believe people who decide to train pitbulls to be vicious animals either. Dogs are kind, loving creatures. They shouldn't be killed for fun. They also shouldn't be trained to kill other dogs, and then set loose. That's just evil.

I hate to hear that. I felt really sad when one of my dogs got ran over by a bus one day. It happened when I was gone to school, and I came home and he wasn't there. I know the feeling. I still have the other two dogs (and a cat), and they're great pets but nothing like the one that got killed. Hopefully, you'll get another pet, and the pain of losing your dog will fade away in time.

I believe all animals live in bliss on the other side. This brings me comfort, as I've lost a number of pets throughout my life. If they're happy, then I don't have to worry about them or even the circumstances of their death. Their happiness is even more important than me being with them, even though I do very much want to see and be with them again. I am confident they will be happy to see me again, as I will be when I die.

I am sorry to hear that. A pet quickly becomes a part of you and you would do anything for your pet. I know when my pet had to be hospitalized for a couple days,my house felt like a damned tomb. But your pet would not want their master to be sad. I think that place needs some better animal control if pits walk around. I think animals are better than humans sometimes,as pets have the ability and capacity to love,while humans can seemingly turn that off.

I have two pitbulls next door and both of them are huge to the point where they could easily jump the fence and kill my poodle, that isn't to say I wouldn't protect him with my life cause our poodle is a rescue dog who we found on a busy street one day during winter. But anyways my condolences to you with your dog and I wish you a blessed day and hope things get easier for you with life.

I'm very sorry to hear about this. The only pets I've ever had was a cat that we had at mom's house from 2009-2010, and a dog at my dad's house that we got in October last year and still have.

If that dog passed away, I would be crying my eyes out. I love that dog. I hope everything gets better for you and your family eventually. Let us know how things are in the future.
