this is in honor of my favorite fighting pokemon Lucario I've noticed that in more then a few hacks it's icon moves Force Palm and Aura Sphere have been removed ... what the hellz people?! he is called the Aura Pokemon for a reason so don't take away the 2 moves that make the pokemon what it is and I don't want to hear any of the excuses you might have for dropping the moves because they aren't good enough! either you let him keep his icon moves or don't use him in the game plain and simple! >.< nowz with that little rant out of the way I'll start my list of things you need to knowz aboutz this pokemon if you don't already have one on your team! 1st off lets start with abilities that you can find with it the most common one is Steadfast which raises it's speed each time it flinches, Inner Focus which protects the pokemon against moves that have flinching as a side effect and nulls that part of the move, and a special chance to get the hidden abilities of Prankster which gives priority to a status move, and Justified which raises it's attack if hit by a dark type move ... though in a few hacks I have seen it with the ability of Guts which ups it's attack power if it is suffering from a status problem like poison or paralyze, and in it's Mega Lucario form it's ability becomes Adaptability which powers up moves the same type as the pokemon using them
2nd thing you should knowz aboutz Lucario is all of the awesome TMs and HMs it can learn I won't list them all just all of the good ones that you might want to teach it and it does span all generations
Strength, Rock Smash, Rock Climb, Focus Punch, Water Pulse, Toxic, Hidden Power, Iron Tail, Hyper Beam, Earthquake, Return, Dig, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Brick Break, Rock Tomb, Facade, Low Sweep, Round, Focus Blast, Fling, Shadow Claw, Payback, Retaliate, Giga Impact, Stone Edge, Bulldoze, Rock Slide, Poison Jab, Flash Cannon, Secret Power, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Drain Punch
3rd is all of the awesome moves it can learn and these also will span all generations
Dark Pulse, Metal Claw, Quick Attack, Counter, Force Palm, Feint, Bone Rush, Aura Sphere, Close Combat, Dragon Pulse, and Extreme Speed all of which can make it an excellent pokemon to use in battle
and 4th natures to look for if your going to train a Lucario are those that will give you either high attack/special attack or high speed which include the following natures
Adamant, Bashful, Brave, Hardy, Hasty, Jolly, Lonely, Mild, Modest, Naive, Naughty, Quiet, Rash, Serious, and Timid
high defense/special defense are the following natures
Bold, Calm, Careful, Docile, Gentle, Impish, Lax, Quirky, Relaxed, and Sassy
I hope that this post was helpful in deciding how to set up a Lucario into your current team good luck with the battles everyone ^^
