Everyone loves wonder trading right? You offer up whatever Pokemon you want and you can get a Pokemon that you need to fill up your dex, a random starter, or 10 straight bidoofs. BUTT, every now and then you can find a pretty good Pokemon, whether it's a rare one, or just a really strong one, and this is the place to share your stories.

Since the only place I can connect my 2DS to the internet is at my friends house, I was only able to start wonder trading on Alpha Sapphire last week and I already got a few sweet pulls, with my favorite one being a level 100 SHINY Delphox.

People give away bad Pokemon all the time, so if you didn't, then someone else would have still given that guy a lousy Pokemon, you just don't go to wonder trade planning on giving good Pokemon. Also there's a chance that guy was breeding mudkip and just gave away dozens that he was left with, which in that case wouldn't really mean much if he gets a bad one back 90% of the time.

Once I finished pokemon X for the second time I decided to wonder trade away my entire team (including a shiny mothim) and I got trash in return.

I'm not a huge fan of wonder trade honestly. I like the concept but there should be a system that will at least give you something decent in return for a good pokemon you're trading away.

Well I still don't know why everyone hates Arceus when there are 100 actually useless guys somewhere in this series.

My first ever wondertrade in the history of ever was when I caught a shiny foongus. Now this was a pretty crappy foongus mind you, pretty sure it had a speed increasing nature, so I figured that I'd trade it for something awesome since people love shinies. Now here I was thinking you would put up a pokemon and be paired with another pokemon, and you just hit no until you find a random pokemon you can agree on. So when my foongus unpromptedly shot into space I instantly closed the system. When I opened it, it said there was a communication error I could breathe again... until I saw my foongus was replaced by a FRICKEN MAGIKARP. AS IN THE LITERAL JOKE POKEMON OF THE SERIES. I remember one time on Alpha Sapphire, I had a level 8 Emolga and decided to wonder trade it and ended up getting a level 60 Gurdurr and it evolved to Conkeldurr because it evolves if you receive a Gurdurr from trading. Any other times I used wonder trade, it's always a level 1-5 non-shiny Pokemon.

I just had a really good Wonder Trade experience last night when I got a Nummel. It wasn't just any Nummel though, it had Pokerus. It was the first time I ever got the virus and I would have missed it if I hadn't saw it as I was about to trade it away. I might catch a few random low level Pokemon, infect them, and wonder trade them away to make a few peoples days.

And since zekrom wasn't a optional encounter in oras, I decided to trade it for one. It was like killing two birds with one stone. Unfortunately for Mewtwo, I accidentally traded it during the process of starting the wonder trade again. I was really tired from trading all day and night. As of recent, I got a hoopa, shiny rotom, shiny linoone, shiny zoroark, and shiny unown from wonder trading. I already gave most of them to other online players. The only ones I have left are zoroark and unown. Zanderlex, you can have one of them if you like.

I had my first good wondertrade for once in a new game on pokemon Y. I wanted to add a unique pokemon to my team, and mind you, I was expecting a rejected breeded pokemon or something. First try, traded a zigzagoon for a zigzagoon, second try, got a wurmple named "2nd
mistake", seriously. Third try, a LEVEL 100 AZELF. I even made it a miiverse post.

I just pulled off one of my greatest trades ever last night, but it wasn't exactly a wonder trade. It was a regular trade but I used one of the Pokemon I got in the wonder trade.

The Pokemon I got in the wonder trade was a level 100 shiny delphox, and I used the GTS to trade that last night for a shiny Arceus.
