Me and my mom have a fairly good relationship in general. May not be the best, but overall, it's good. We get along well. I love and respect her, but recently with her allowing my stepfather to stay, it was a tough pill to swallow.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said for my both my real and stepfather. They are pretty much the mirror images of each other especially in terms of personality. I have a very poor relationship with them. So much that we hardly talk at all. And to top it off, we all have some serious grudges against one another. My real father permanently removed himself from my life a few years back. I hope that some day I'll be able to release my personal hate for him

The relationship with my parents is very poor, the reason why is because somehow, they're very greedy with money and all, in fact, they care more about money than their own children. I'm not sure on why my parents are like that, I can't use money on myself, I have to basically give them my whole paycheck for no reason, I understand using a little bit for food and rent, but it's getting ridiculous.

This is why my brother talked to me about moving out on our own. We discuss where to move to, but we'll move out of state and get ourselves an apartment for a few months

IgorBird122 : Oh man, the relationship between you and your parents sounds pretty bad. I still live with mine, too. They let me stay free of charge which I'm grateful for. Well, then again, they do ask me for money to buy food sometimes, but nothing I can't handle. My grandfather is currently helping me look for a new place to live.

My strong relationship with my mom really makes up for the lack of a relationship with my father however thanks to my father I've learned not to take advantage of both of them or rely on them for one second they may be there for me the next they probably won't. I love them both equally and express thanks for having the chance to live and prosper.

I can relate with you, friend. I too, have felt extremely neglected. My Parents really suck. My Mom constantly orders me around, and forces me to find a lasting job, even though they're hard to find. She also said some mean things to me, but I won't go into detail. My Father also sucks. He abandoned my family years ago, to marry another woman and have other kids. I don't really care for him, because he forgot me. It's a sorrowful existence.
