Hey VizzedGuy111 here, and I'm here to discuss a question with you guys. So, I got this question based on a episode (not gonna tell it to you guys) and it had me thinking... would you rather watch movies on the T.V. or at the cinemas? I mean we watch movies, mostly at a daily basis, and we use it to take advantage of our time and to relax our selves from stress or something else. However, there are few factors you have to consider about watching movies. When you're going to watch the movie? You need to know what time are you going to watch the movie, otherwise it might ruin your schedule and etc. What movie you're going to watch? You need to know what movie it is, whether it be a action, comedy, or something else. However, the most important question is, where are you going to watch it? It could be the T.V., in your home, watch with your family, and more. Or how about  the Cinemas, you get to see movies at the big screen, and see it in 3D.
Anyway, you decide and why you decided it (can be optional).

I would definitely rather watch movies at home.  If I had someone to watch the kids then I could watch all my favorite movies again.  The way it is right now I have to try to sneak in my horror movies (favorite genre).  Going to the movies would be better if we weren't in the smart phone age.  I almost always end up sitting near someone whose phone is going off every 5 minutes, or they are trying to have a conversation while your watching the movie.  When you're watching movies at home you have the snacks and the bathroom available at all times and you can pause the movie if something comes up.  There is also the financial aspect of going to watch the movie aside from having to make room in your schedule to go see it you can expect to drop about 50 bucks for you and your date.  I haven't brought the whole family to a movie yet, so I am going off what it would cost for me and the wife if I were to factor in the kids I'm sure that would be 100 dollars or more.  There has also been huge advances in home viewing technology.  Not sure what the latest 3D TV has for specifics, but I'm sure if you've got surround sound hooked up with some comfortable seating it's about as good as any theater you'll find.

I prefer to watch movies at home. I have only time during the weekend, where it's too expensive. In front of the T.V. I can cuddle with my girlfriend and enjoy our cheaper and tastier snacks( we love to cook). It must be a very special movie for me and her to go to the cinema ( for example Star Wars 7). The same situation with friends. MCU movies could be worth going with friends, but not everyone of them.

Much rather in a theater, it's so much better and you get the real experience. I'll see almost any movie in a theater because it will look and sound so much better. Just on Tuesday I went and saw two movies in theaters and I probably wont see them on TV, even when they come out on TV.

I prefer to watch movies on the T.V rather than the theaters primarily because if I really like the movie I can watch it as many times as I like. Watching it with my family and friends is also much better than watching the movies with strangers in your presence. Additionally I don't have to buy me a expensive popcorn with a drink in a movie theater I can just eat waffles instead. There's also a minor chance a baby is present in the theaters or a immature kid kicks my seat while I'm trying to enjoy the movie.

I love watching movies in the theater, because of the huge screen (and the popcorn haha). I'm still waiting for an awesome movie to come out at the IMAX so I can go see it. Sigh, sadly I couldn't go when they showed Beauty & the Beast (one of my all-time favorite movies).

I prefer T.V. since I don't have to go anywhere to see it, I really don't feel like going somewhere to see a movie.

I rather watch movies from my own TV or home cinema. Than go to real cinema to watch. I can watch it with my own phase and don't have to listen stupid people while watching it.

I don't know which one I prefer. Each has perks over the other.

If the movie is something I really want to see and it is a big budget type movie then I'll go see it in a theater. However, if it isn't like that then I prefer to watch at home. I like being able to pause a movie when I need to (or rewind if I miss hearing something). I also like subtitles with my movies and TV shows when I can have them.

The feel of a movie at a theater is great but the convenience is what I prefer. Plus, the cost difference is pretty drastic.

I think you forgot to add Cinema as an option in your poll.

Anyway, I prefer to watch movies in the theater whenever they come out. It's more fun this way, since we can have popcorn, candy, and drinks. We also get to see the movie early before it gets released either digitally or on DVD.

Of course, we could always do this at home whenever the movie is released digitally or on DVD, but the theaters just give off an expierence that you just can't get in the living room.

I prefer watching at home.
I have a fairly comfortable couch, surround, and a 3D TV...

I have to say though, its nice to go to a theater every once in a while.
Its a different experience and just gets me out of the house for a little while.... and I can always walk around the mall the theater is in before or after a movie.

Neither I would say. I'd go with my computer since on it I don't really have to worry about commercial breaks and can watch whatever I want when I want. Out of those two though, I'd probably go with TV. The only reason to go to the cinema is to see movies at release or in my case to see them on a bigger screen and in 3D. Which is something that doesn't really matter for some movies but is considered part of the experience with others like Avatar or How to Train your Dragon 2. Otherwise snacks are usually much more expensive there than they are to buy in your local store and e couch at home is much more comfy than the chairs in the cinema.

So unless it's a specific case TV would be my go to choice.

Not much of a Poll with only one option lol.
Anyway, I would definitely go with TV format over movies. A movie, or even franchise of movies, can only be so long. A TV series can go on for years, allowing for much more time being entertained, and much more  thorough story telling. I love movies and TV equally, but TV has the edge in amount of time it entertains you, and amount of original material (Movies can be re-watched, but it's never the same as the first time). Both have perks and cons for each format, but for reasons I already stated, TV is the slight winner in my book.

Yeah, apparently the voting poll is broken, so if you like T.V. vote, if you don't, don't vote. :/

I always prefer watching movies in my home. Less expensive, not as loud, and I love turning on subtitles. I don't even have a nice T.V., I still have a standard definition box television. XD

Honestly, I don't even like watching movies with friends, unless I've seen the movie before, then we can talk and poke fun at things. I just always prefer watching movies on my own.

I forgot to add my opinion, soooooo :/  Well I'd rather watch movies on the Cinemas, mostly because you would have a big screen to watch movies in. You have 3D glasses to watch movies (I know you could watch 3D on your TV but I don't have 3D glasses yet), and also comfy seats with drink holder. You also get to at least watch movies with other people (Yes I like watching movies with other people... you don't feel lonely) and I guess that's it.
