And that comes to tell you that greed is more important than anything. How I view it, it's all about money, and money is basically evil and controls company's minds. No money, chaos happens.

But on the bright side like Vane mentioned, there is a few games that aren't the "main games" and gives them a shot of fame. Maybe if Nintendo gets off their behind and have every main game on the Wii-U/3DS VC, then that would be great. It's fine for adults that are working because we can be like "meh, a few dollars to buy a game wouldn't hurt, no big deal", but our younger audience is a different story where they need to use their parents to buy the game for them.

I'm no legal expert but I'm pretty sure Nintendo cant make you take down any hacked versions of their games as they offer a different/modified experience from the main games. I know they can official should they still have the rights, especially due to re-releases, but those official games only take up a very small portion of the collection that they demanded be taken down, I think that only the hacked game's creator can legally take their game down. Especially since no game is being paid (real money) for and they are being played over the Internet.

Just an FYI, if you have the game saved on your browsing history, you can still play it; I've been playing Ultra Violet this way.

That is so unfair! But I know why they removed them. They own rights for them for 75 YEARS after they copyright them. So, yep, you MUST PAY for them. Oh right! They are not available on the market! But who cares about that? Not them. THEY just remove them! Super Mario World. I had progress... and THEY removed it!

I will download all games on list and share with you all also remember games you played on vizzed There all on harddrive its where you installed vizzed plugin but to play them you need emulator

Son of a bit I am pretty sure it was comcast that reported my playing of Pokémon ruby to Nintendo most likely. They are all in for the profit making and to keep the little guys down.

They probably would under the pretense of it creates confusion or that Nintendo was the system it was developed for. And as what another user said,they are crazy. What are they going to do with the virtual boy games besides sell them or bury them next to E.T.?

That's a bummer. I was just starting to get into Pokémon too. I now understand the pain of having no Pokémon to play. And all the Mario and Zelda and METROID my favorite Nintendo franchise! I am so happy that the Sonic games were protected by the fact that they were all originally owned by SEGA. If not, I'm sure they would have taken that away from us too. Once again SEGA does what Nintendon't.

On a lighter note, this storm could pass over more quickly than you think. I like to follow the Super Sentai tv franchise, and whenever a new season comes out they remove a whole bunch of videos from Youtube, but then as the seasons get older the company is more lenient and lets videos be made again. But Nintendo may also be more stingy so I don't know.

The reason why this probably hasn't happened already is because for a while all those games weren't being sold anymore and Nintendo wasn't making money from them anymore. But now they have Virtual Console, and you can buy/play many old video games from various franchises. So now that Nintendo is making money from those games again, they will be more aggressive with their copyright claims and stuff.

But that's just my opinion.

I think Nintendo doesn't realize their pockets are still being filled firmly with funds from their newer projects, All their older ones such as some of the nes and gameboy color and advanced games, are probably destroyed offline or extremely hard to find online, This site was moderately well known, and had them all still on here, and they were moderately free to play, so because all the old generation games were being played for free,  most of which were probably broken or hacks to add to the game, They have been removed because Nintendo is too stubborn to see that the old games could be publicity, free publicity, to allow people to check out and most likely buy the newer and better games that they have out. Most of the old games aren't being re-made either, only the really popular ones are, so having them get some of the old ones re-mastered and being played here as the old ones, would bring in so much more income for the retards.

Seeing the Pokemon hacks as well on that list has definitely killed me. They haven't gone to the hackers, which means it's okay to hack the Pokemon games, but seemingly it's not okay to play them. Absolute nonsense.

It really bugs me because I had some projects scheduled for games on that list, not to mention the progress I had already made. On the bright side, there wasn't much progress made as far as I can recall, and now I have an extra reason to go through them from the beginning. The problem is that I'll have to get some emulators, code them, download some ROMs... All the problems that Vizzed saved me.

Seems like most people won't be a bit patient to try to find something else to play. If only we could get enough donations to add some more systems and cover the void of this loss it would be great. Let's hope for the better, everyone!

Wow, aren't you just the most loyal and faithful user? I mean, it's obvious that you clearly can't play any of the tens of thousands of other games still remaining on the site, right?

Even if you don't want to do play anything, still no reason to be such a piss about it, you could have just left quietly instead of loudly declaring that you're abandoning the website when it needed support and help. Not cool, dude.

"Nooooo, don't play our old games on this site, come to our place where you have to pay for them as we add them slowly one by one, that's a much better solution!" Sounds like a good topic to put in one of those political one-panel comics.

And while this site is going through financial struggles, of course NOW Nintendo will decide to swoop down to take the popular games away, hacks and all. While of course, other sites are still under their radar and still has those removed games too.

KPE : We should probably stop pointing out how the games can still be played. There had to of been someone monitoring vizzed in order to have all of those games requested to be removed, which means they might still be monitoring it to make sure they were in fact removed. With users posting "this is how you can still play them" would for sure be the target of another action against vizzed from nintendo.
