Have some of you ever played a game that had a losing theme take place when your hp was low or any of the sort and liked it? I've played a few games with losing themes. My favorite was the one in yugioh world championship 2009. This theme really motivated me to win those duels.

My favorite losing theme in games is Continue in Mortal Kombat 4 it's just a incredibly intense theme in my opinion. The animation that goes with that theme is just flawless it makes me want to lose to be honest.

My favorite losing themes would be in the original Resident Evil games when you die, or in Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 when you get the game over screen. I always loved the "You Are Dead" screen and the soundtracks for losing in Final Fantasy titles.

Not really a losing theme as such, but the buzzing countdown timer and text telling me to 'hurry up' on Timesplitters 2 makes me go crazy in a good way if im close to setting a new record

Definitely Skies of Arcadia. The music actually changes in the middle of Boss battles, depending on who is doing better. If you're doing poorly, you get Crisis, if the boss is almost dead and you're doing great, it goes into Opportunity.

I think Opportunity happens around the 2:00 minute mark. Great game, and this mechanic was so great. Crisis really gives you that feeling of dread, that if you don't start stepping up your game, it was going to be Game Over.

M. Bison's theme counts does it? Once you hear it you just know you're completely destroyed at the beginning.
