What was the first video game you ever played?

The first game I ever played was Pokemon Gold for the Game Boy Color, although I played it on the Gameboy Advance SP. My cousin gave it to me for my 4th birthday and I loved it. I kept it with me until around 2011 or so, when I lost it. It was good while it lasted, though. And I can use Vizzed to replay the game, anyway.

I know my first system was a Sega because it was given by my cousin - so my best guess would be either NHL for some year, WWF (I remember Doink the clown) or Sonic. I'm pretty sure it was one of the first 2 though.

Woah, that's a tough question... It would either be Tetris for the Game Boy or Super Mario Kart. I doubt I played for the first time any of those two after I inherited my cousin's Dreamcast, but my memory for events in the 20th century is very blurry.

I know I had pong on the atari when I was a kid as well as frogger and a few other games from that system. However, I was pretty young for that one. I remember NES and SNES games better.

My memories of my early childhood are a bit fuzzy but I know my first video game was either Primal Rage or one of the Sonic games.  We did have an nes though so it could have even been super mario bros.  I'm going to just say that it was Primal Rage though.

I remember two games that were the first I've played. It was Road Rash and Twisted Metal for the original PlayStation. I'm going to say Road Rash was the first game I've ever played. Twisted Metal was the second game I've played. These two were both awesome games. I never knew when I was growing up that there was 4 Twisted Metal games that were made for the PlayStation. The fifth one was Small Brawl but I didn't hear about that one around 2003 or something. I have played every Twisted Metal except for Small Brawl which I may check out. I remember calling Sweet Tooth, the clown or ice cream man or something. Little me was silly back then.

My first  video game was actually a Pokemon game, no surprise here.
From what I remember it was Blue, for GBA. Then I got Leaf Green, then Crystal, and so on.
It's been only Pokemon for me for a couple of years until I got various other consoles.

You would think that the first game I played was Pokemon related but it wasn't because the first game I played was Super Smash Bros for the N64 however it would have been Donkey Kong 64 if I could have gotten it to work. I always believed it didn't work because it was on a yellow cartridge when every other game I owned was on the standard N64 cartridge.
