Aye, everybody!

I have just sign up and played few games to have a taste of this website and I loved it!

When I was a child I played video games a lot, but getting old (and many responsibility) brought me far from them. I tried to play more recent games (let's say not 10 years old) but those ones that can really entertain me a very few. What I still enjoy a those games I played when I was a child such as the first and third chapters of Super Mario, Duck Hunt, Klonoa, Legend of the Dragoon, Tomba, Spyro etc.

Hope to meet other fans of these games!

...although I will try not to give you TOO much of a hard time for saying you have gotten "old" even though your age is listed as 25 on your profile. It should be illegal for people in their 20s to refer to themselves in that manner.

Our RGR certainly brings back memories for a lot of people. Who knows, maybe if you have free time once you are done with the games you like to play, you just might find a game you never knew you'd like! And these boards are a pretty fun place to hang out as well.

I've never played Legend of Dragoon or Tomba, but I've been hearing so many people around here talk about it for so long I'm seriously considering it. The other games you listed I love as well. Definitely classics, and while I absolutely love modern gaming, I still love the old classics as well with some of my personal favorites and recommendations being Toejam & Earl, Wiz 'n' Liz, Harvest Moon (all of them, except maybe the GB/GBC ones), and I could list so many more but this thread is about you not me. Lol

Do you have any genre preferences? I noticed most of what you listed were platformers, so I'm guessing you're a fellow fan of that particular genre. Gotta love a good platformer.

Regards to the age, I do not feel old, it is just that English is not my first language and only now I have realized it was better to say I "grew up". What an embarrassing (and funny) mistake!

Eirinn, I always like to hear some suggestions from other video gamers as probably I missed some titles that I could like. I have ever heard those you mentioned but I will try them hear. I never thought about that, but maybe my favorite genre is the platform. I love also racing games but I rarely play them because if I lose the concentration I can easily frustrate all the good things I did until then and when it happens I cry "inside" of me.

Vanelan, I only tried few "new" games and now I am enjoying Dragon Quest I. After reading Dragon Quest Biography: Emblem of Roto I wanted to find the game as I liked so much the environment of the manga. I am enjoying the game but I find annoying to come back to the beginning to only save the game.

Zanderlex, as soon as I realized how many games there are in this site I surely had a blast! Then I stared at the search bar thinking about what game to find for at least 5 minutes. I got lost even before starting!
