Here's the link to the article:
http://www.stuff.tv/news/raspberry-pi-3-announced-50-faster-100-more-wi-fi-same-price

Anyone else excited about this?

I have a Pi 2 and it's absolutely wonderful.

Here are all of the things I bought for it from Amazon.  They are all Prime eligible too if you're a member.

Mediabridge USB 2.0 - USB Extension Cable (6 Feet) - A Male to A Female with Gold-Plated Contacts - $4.99 x 2
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001MSU1FS/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=VMMP7JXCB63E&coliid=I39QLJ32M82416&psc=1

High-Speed HDMI Cable - 6 Feet HDMI A Male to A Male - $3.99
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X4R8X8C?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

CanaKit Raspberry Pi Micro USB Power Supply / Adapter / Charger - $7.99
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GF9T3I0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC UHS-I Card with Adapter, Grey/Red, Standard Packaging (SDSQUNC-064G-GN6MA)  - $22.83
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010Q588D4?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00

Buffalo Classic USB Gamepad for PC - $11.99 x 2
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002B9XB0E?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00

R REIFENG Black Case for Raspberry Pi B+ & Raspberry Pi 2 Model B - Access to All Ports +Heatsink Set - $9.98
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V491XU2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s01

So for around $100, I now have this incredible gaming station the size of a credit card.

Does anyone else have one or is thinking about it?

Steffenfield : This actually outclasses even the Pine A-64 I think. Built in WiFi and Blutooth sold it. There's only one more thing that I need... Has anyone tried to USB install Windows onto this thing? 'Cause if that can be done, I'm sold.

You can install Windows 10 but it's more of a command line sort of thing.

It seemed really confusing so I passed on learning anything more on that.

I like the specs on it but I wish there were a version without the wifi and blutooth as these things are pointless to me.

m0ssb3rg935 : Windows RT might work, but I don't know if there's a retail version available. You could probably run it in an emulator but it might not be terribly fast.

I have a Pi 2 B and they really seem like a novelty more than anything.
Now, I'm not a developer, but they just seems bit too underpowered to do anything really significant.

I'm happy that the Pi3 is FINALLY going to have wifi standard, rather than having to use one of those dongles. Was ridiculous that anything computer related wouldn't have wifi standard to begin with, but I understand how limited space was when they were first developing this platform.

So I have a Pi 3 now and I'm really liking it so far. I just use it as a vpn so I can look at dirty pictures at work (not exactly) but it's done me well so far. So virtualization is disabled on the chip for some reason, although it supports it. I haven't tried to turn it on yet because it doesn't seem like Xvisor is even close to mature yet, but I'm really excited to try that out. As I suspected, I haven't used the WiFi except to test it, but it worked so there's that.
