Alright, I'm not sure how much you guys might take on a non-Vizzed streamer talking about their stream, but I figured I could get away with it at least a little bit for having it be for charity.

Those of you who have been on chat might've seen me talking about this a little bit, and I mentioned I was going to make a thread as the date approaches. Here it is.

Starting next Saturday, March 5th, at 8am EST, a friend of mine and I will be trading off stream duties en route to a 24+ hour marathon stream (24 hours is the official goal, but my personal stretch goal is to hit 36-48 hours). We have most of the stream ideas and order planned out at this point, although we'll have plenty more than what I'm announcing here. In fact, all that I WILL be announcing here is that I'm spearheading the start of the stream with Pokédraw, while my friend is going to start her first stream at about 10 or so with Ace Attorney Investigations.

This stream is bound to be a ton of fun, and we will have donation incentives as well. The entire stream will be coordinated on my channel, at http://www.twitch.tv/swterra.

All donations will be made on my Extra Life page, which will have a link in the about area on my stream page. If you have the time and some money, please stop by, say hello, and maybe even donate a dollar or two. It'd mean a lot, and every dollar counts!

Awesome, man! I won't be able to actually watch because of data issues, but I'll definitely drop in via chat mode to support the stream. And I have no way of transferring money, so...yeah my presence won't add much, but I'll be there! xD

This is really a cool idea. Did you have to go through any official steps to set this up, or is it just a matter of saying "Hey, we're going to hold this stream and send you guys (extra life) the funds raised"?

And yeah you can post about your stream as much as you want. Nothing wrong with that.


Oh one last question: do you have a predetermined list of games to stream, or will you just be deciding as you go? Or maybe Pokédraw is the only one you plan to stream the whole time?

Eirinn : Actually, that's a great question. Also lol, if I did Pokédraw for the entirety of my sections of the stream I'd die of laughter.

While I don't have a full schedule down yet (and I want to keep some secrets to myself for right now ), I can spoil a little bit more of what we have planned, especially in the realm of the donation incentives.

For incentives, we've got stuff like Sonic '06, Outlast (I DON'T WANNA DO THIS I'M A WUSS ;-, and my friend is also putting up herself playing Hatoful Boyfriend as a donation incentive. When we figure out the likely turnout, we'll put up all the donation incentives with the goals for each.

Moreover, I'm also going to be streaming some good old corrupted ROM play (both old-fashioned and real-time), and even be doing a practice speedrun live of my Kirby and the Amazing Mirror play. I haven't been able to practice, but I'm hoping to at least stay under 50 minutes. As for my friend, she also has Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door planned out for her stream sections. As you can tell, she's doing more dedicated playthroughs, while I'm just going to do some quick 1-2 sorts of activities. But rest assured to anyone else reading this, we both have some phenomenal things planned for this stream, including a third guest hopeful in the middle, as well. I won't spoil who it is or what the person will be playing, but I hope to get the time when this person is going to most likely stream during the marathon.

As for the setting up, it's just a simple matter of me having an Extra Life profile page where you can go and donate to. Proceeds will automatically go to Nicklaus Children's Hospital (formerly known as Miami Children's Hospital), which is a local hospital from my home address (although I am currently mostly living up in college).

Since it is on a saturday I will try stopping by if I am free but I can't guarantee I will be there for all of it but I can try for a good portion. Also I saw outlast in your previous post you should play it for sure definitely around like the last 2-4 hours to make it keep you up since you have to pay attention.

Hey everyone, just giving this thread a quick bump since tomorrow morning is fast-approaching. The stream starts in LESS THAN EIGHT HOURS!
