I'm sure most people have probably heard of Martin Shkreli by now, the former CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals who created a massive controversy by spiking the price for the drug Daraprim from $13.50 to $750 last year. He was subpoenaed by Congress to testify about the company's drug price hikes, but instead, he pled the 5th, and after the hearing, he went on twitter to call congress "imbeciles". He was smirking and showed he doesn't care about anybody but himself and money. I really hope that he gets found guilty of the fraud crimes he's accused of commiting...

To be fair pleading the 5th means that anything he has to say is likely going to get him convicted. That is why it is there.

I'm usually not one to wish harm upon others, honestly if he was convicted I wouldn't mind. It's one thing to just take advantage of people's weak mindedness which I already dislike but it's another one to take advantage of those who have no other options but to comply.
