I myself really enjoy anime openings and think some of the songs are absolutely brilliant. I contemplated making a Top 200 video of my favourites, but there were so many different openings that were really good, ranking them was so difficult. So I thought I would ask a few other people and it turned out quite a few people were really interested in seeing what openings other people liked. 

So I decided to create a Voting Video on YouTube to find the top 200 Anime Openings of all time.

Naturally there a few rules for voting, all of which are explained in the YouTube video, which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odxu_UWoHbk

I will briefly explain the rules here though, just to stop anybody from wasting time clicking on the video to find out they don't want to vote.

You can only vote by commenting on the YouTube Video, so will need a YouTube / Google Account to do so.
You have to vote for your top 10 Anime Openings and rank them from 1st - 10th. (They will score points based on Position)
You are only allowed to vote for 1 Opening per Anime.

If you do struggle to think of 10, or only know a small amount of openings, but still want to vote, I would definitely recommend watching one of the many 'Top Anime Opening' videos on YouTube to give you a quick viewing of some of the openings that you can use to complete / update your Top 10.

If you are really interested in voting and have a question just ask me here. (But make sure you have watched the video before you ask, it may well be explained in the video.)
 

If its based on something that has to be done in a video, I think it would do better if it was done in the web splurge forum, or even with a reward because it does seem to be a lot more work than what people usually do here. Once I get time, I might try it out, though I don't have 10 right now.

I don't know man, this sounds annoying and pretentious. Not to mention the fact that I won't be of much help, as I hate the anime that will probably inevitably take the top spots, which I obviously dislike. Not to mention the fact that I've only seen about 80 anime, so I won't be of much help, as will most of the others on this site.

Not to say I won't vote, of course.

I think I voted as well. This may had been years ago I remember watching it when I was very very young. But sadly I wouldn't remember what I voted for. @.@

The results are now in!
Thank you to everybody who voted, there was an impressive 406 total votes and the top 200 openings were split into 20 second clips and included into a video for Youtube, which can be seen here:

The video contains only the top 2 openings per Anime Franchise. So there were other openings that made the top 200 which aren't in this video. I only included 2 fate openings, even though many of you will disagree with them being the same anime, but I wanted variety in the top 200 and there could have been 5 or 6 Fate openings in the top 200 if I classed them as different animes.

If you want to know the results without watching the video, the full results can be found in a spreadsheet linked in the description of the video. They are ranked by points, then by how many people voted for that opening and then by number of 1st places, 2nd places etc. Openings that didn't make the video because they were the 3rd or lower opening for that anime franchise are highlighted in yellow.

Let me know your thoughts on the results! Whether your favourites did well/bad, or if you were surprised by any of the results.

Nice, I got some good ones into the video. At some points nearly single-handedly. But, that's what matters.
Of course I'm somewhat disappointing at the result, but that's just my snobbish side talking.
I'm glad some gems got in there amidst the mainstream crap.
You really put the effort into this one, everything that got a vote made it on in some way. That's really cool, it shows a true countdown in the most extreme of ways.
Bravo to you. This is a fun list to see.
