The last movie I saw in theaters was "The Batman". It is a completely different theme of movie than the Dark Knight Trilogy so it's hard to compare the two. It has much less action than the DKT but it makes up for it in a brilliant detective story and phenomenal acting. It's 3 hours long but doesn't feel nearly as long, at least the 1st time you watch it. I saw it twice and definitely felt it dragged a bit in the middle since I already knew everything that happened. Yet the acting and cinematography still made it great to watch. Robert Pattinson played a great Batman who is still struggling to find his role as the hero of Gotham and finally discovers it, albeit at a great cost. I'm not a huge Marvel fan. I think their movies are enjoyable and consistently great. When DC makes a great movie like this however, it blows any Marvel movie out of the water. Also how great is it that we can go to theaters again and enjoy great movies like this? Just 2 years ago we couldn't go anywhere and we were all wondering when we would get back to any sense of normal. Now we can once again see great movies like this and Spiderman: No Way Home in a theater of complete strangers and more importantly, with friends and family. I hope we are able to remember what we had lost during Covid and now what has returned that is truly important. Not movies but community.

The last movie I saw in the theater was Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and it blew me away after the first movie I didn't have that high of expectations for it but I was really surprised with how well it turned out I think the 2nd movie is an improvement in just about every way I don't wanna get into spoilers but there was one thing I noticed that I did think was worse but maybe I'll bring it up in a different thread in the future.
Oh yeah definitely hyped for whenever Sonic The Hedgehog 3 comes out!

The last movie that I saw in theaters was the new Thor movie, which I saw in IMAX. The movie itself was really good but seeing it on such a big screen with better projectors really made some moments feel much better, like the scenes that were in black and white.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Dragon Ball Super Super Hero and blew my expectations out of the water and I've not gotten to see it a 2nd time so I'm not completely confident yet but I think it's my favorite movie now beating Dragon Ball Super Broly just because I never was really bored with the film or waiting for action to start where I find the first 30 minutes of Broly a bit hard to get through even if it's needed to set up the character of Broly but to put more focus on Super Hero I think it was a super refreshing movie for Dragon Ball but I'm really ready for the anime to return already if it ever will.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Where The Crawdads since, some months ago. The theater near me can be a little expensive so I tend to not go much, but I went on a wednesday at like 11AM and it was only $7, so I'll go back when I can get that deal again.

I'm actually going to see Avatar 2 in 3D on saturday, so I guess its a good thing I've been saving money not going to the movies lol.

The last movie that I saw in theaters was Avatar: The Way of Water. I thought it was pretty good as a movie but seeing all the visuals in a theater was fantastic. I saw it in Dolby 3D and there were so many good scenes that looked crazy like the entire opening sequence.

It's a bit weird to think about the last one I went to because I was just out spending time with my mom and her Boyfriend during the time and we just happened to stop by the movie theater there (Which was a really nice one, even better then the one we had back home) and the movie I remember we watched was Venom 2 iirc. I don't think we had any reason we all chose Venom over any of the other Movies really but it was a pretty fun Watch all things considered.

Last thing I saw was National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

My friend wanted to go watch it again and I never saw it so we went. I might get hated for this but I thought it was alright but not enough to get me to watch all the other National Lampoon movies.

It's been so many years since I last went to the theater. I almost went to go see No Time to Die and desperately want to go to a viewing of Avatar: Way of the Water before its theatrical run is over. Due to my girlfriend being immunocompromised, it's been hard to want to go out into a confined space with the flu, cold, and covid going around out of fear of bringing it back home to her.

The last movie we've seen has been the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie, which was also the very last box office success before the pandemic. I actually quite enjoyed it, it exceeded my expectations and was a fun time. The sequel, not so much, feel like it dug way too heavily into children's movie tropes in comparison to the first movie.

Finally saw Avatar: The Way of Water and there are just so many things I could say about it. Obviously its an incredible movie, and an incredible length, but more specifically the visuals were just immaculate. You could see why the movie took, 12? years to complete, just the CGI must've taken forever.

The entire world of Pandora was so eloquently made, and since the theme was water, it was a completely new look than the first movie which was in the forest and on the mountains. I wonder what the biome choice for the third movie will be.

I'd also like to mention that I saw it in IMAX 3D, which is pretty much the top of the line for visuals, so that really did help my experience. The Avatar movies are made for 3D and at some points, especially the underwater swimming scenes, you could really see the characters and the fish pop out of the screen. The movie also opens up with you staring directly at the point of an arrow coming out of the screen.

Overall it was a fantastic experience that I absolutely recommend to anyone even considering seeing it. It was a really shame that I didn't get to see the first one in theaters and in 3D as well. I look forward to the third in 2024 (supposedly).

The last movie that I saw in theaters was A Man Called Otto. I really liked the story and thought that there was some good humor but I really hated how long the movie was for this genre.

I watched Babylon this afternoon, and I must say it's bizarre as hell. Nice acting from the whole cast, though Brad Pitt was given a role that didn't demand a big change from him unlike Bullet Train, and I must admit it was awfully funny to see Peter Parker having a minor role being mentally unstable xD

Not a bad plan, considering we improvised it in the hours prior. We wanted to go watch The Menu in the original audio, but I accidentally discovered that movie already available on Disney+ so we'll watch that one at my home and had to look for other options. The only one that had some interest was Babylon, and due to its length we decided to watch it dubbed, the original version was played late and it would have ended up around midnight.

It was the first time in ages I went to the cinema, and in the last years the only times I went was to see anime movies. Also I went to a cinema I hadn't been before, and actually got a bit lost before arriving at my desired location.

The last movie that I saw in theaters was Missing. I really liked Searching so I knew that I was going to see this and it ended up being way better than I thought it would be. I loved the acting and I loved all the different plot twists that were scattered across the movie. I think it even did a better job than Searching.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny which was really cool cause I actually got to see it a day early with my mom who had me and my brother basically grow up on the films, it was a great time definitely top 3 Indiana Jones movie for me not sure if I like it or Raiders of the Lost Ark better but Last Crusade is definitely still my favorite.

I got to see Live Action Little Mermaid back in May (yeah I finally got to see a movie at Winnipeg's newest Cineplex) and man was I ever blown away, I actually bought a DBox seat to sit in because it was in one of those theatres, I can only imagine what these things are like during a Fast and the Furious film.

Long story short I enjoyed the film so much that I saw it the next day with my aunt....I plan on seeing the Barbie Movie this month this looks so bad but I could use a good time but I don't expect it to get a DBox theatre, not with Mission Impossible out there

I don't really remember the last movie I saw in THEATERS, but I think it was the first Sonic The Hedgehog. I saw it with my friend, and man, was it good!
I had seen it before my family, so I couldn't spoil it to them, which was so annoying. All I wanted to do after that was talk about the ending.

I’ll admit. Last movie I’ve seen was The Super Mario Bros. Movie. I’m not going to lie, for a simple movie and plot, it was pretty good for a comedy family movie. Seeing all the references and Easter eggs based on the game made the movie the more entertaining to watch. Would recommend watching if you haven’t already

The last movie I saw in theaters was Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One. I liked it, but not as much as the other 2 movies I’ve seen in theaters this year, those being The Super Mario Bros Movie and Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse.

I just came back from the Barbie movie and I think I can understand why most AMC theatres paired both that and Oppenheimer together, anyone who read up on the latter would know that he basically lost sleep over the casualties from both of the Atomic Bombs. Barbie has a crisis about Death but it's somehow connected to someone who played with her in the past, and yes she plays a bigger role in the movie (speaking of which did they ever put out an Ugly Betty doll? seeing America Ferrera onscreen brought back memories of her Ugly Betty days)

anyway back to Barbie it's definitely worth it, there were some moments I wasn't expecting but there was a small predictable twist I could see from a mile away it's not perfect but I had fun watching it anyway, I would see a sequel if they made one but where do you go from there after that ending, but if we should get a mild spoiler we don't see much of Barbie's sisters Skipper makes a couple of brief appearances but Midge had more screentime but her husband Alan had even more screentime

basically I came out of Barbie wishing that they would give Ruth Handler, her creator a biopic because that ending made me cry (but maybe someone else plays her)

btw you want to knw something funny, when I left the theatre three barbie showings were sold out while one Oppenheimer showing was low on tickets

The last movie that I saw in theaters was Godzilla Minus One and being able to see it in theaters instead of just on TV is definitely a treat. There's a lot of dialouge and character development that doesn't have to do with Godzilla but when Godzilla takes center stage, the experience in theaters was wild, especially the scene in Ginza.
