I've been noticing a decent amount of us Vizzed users play Runescaspe, so I figured I would make a thread for it so we can add/talk to each other. Maybe start off with telling us how you got in to it and why you still play or why you quit, even which server you play on.

I'll start it off, my dad actually introduced me to the game and let me use his account when I was home with my friends for one hour a day(I used up my one hour every single day). The account I currently play on is about 12 years old, I started RWTing in 2008 and stopped in 2014, when they really started busting our asses so I just started to play the game. Now I really only play on Runescape 3, although I have a pretty big bank on Oldschool I just don't find it enjoyable.

Currently I'm going for max total level, I'm at 2552 right now so I'm nearing the big goal mark. I'm sort of torn on which skill I want to do next because of the fact the only skills I have left I hate (Thieving, Fishing, Hunter, Divination). So I've been getting lazy with it lately.

I started playing many years ago but I haven't played it in a couple years but I do plan on starting again but id probably have to get a new account or whatever since I don't remember anything about mine. I think one of my really old friends showed me the game and I loved it. I loved how there were so many things for you to do in the game, which was something I never saw before, back then games I played didn't have as many different things, just a story or whatever and that's why I loved it.

Neat idea! I suppose I'll go into some detail about my own Runescape history. I first started playing around 2008 or so, but my current account was created quite a few years later and has the name Zlinqx same as on here. I didn't intially stick to one account after taking breaks from the game but essentially made new ones every time and tried pures like strength pures, skillers etc so I do have experience with a lot of different account types. Because of that though I've never achieved that high of a level on a single one even my current one which is the one I finally stuck to.

If I remember correctly my total is just above 1600 my highest skills being just over 70 and the lowest ones 55. I'm still far from getting a 99 but I've actually been thinking about returning again and perhaps trying to get all my skills above 60 since I'm trying to keep my account as balanced as possible eve if I can get membership some time soon. It's an interesting game, it's essentially one big grindfest in some aspects but the questing system is in my opinion the best in any MMO since they feel like actual quests that you undertake, and I really like mmos with player driven economies and that aren't entirely combat focused and just a lot of activities to do in general.

I've also always prefered RS3, the only reason I can see for why you wouldn't is if you're a big PVPer since the PVP community for old school is a lot more active even if RS3's isn't inactive either. Outside of that I find the old school combat system really boring and simplistic with more luck and less strategy involved but that's just me.

Zlinqx : If you're really looking to play actively on Runescape again I can probably toss you a bond to get you started. They only have 14 days of membership but if you can make the 10m they cost within that timespan you can just earn free memberships. Let me know if you would like one.

Domdof : That would be awfully generous of you, I know of them since I was active when they were first released. To tell you the truth it would be nice since my bank isn't that big anymore, and is way over capacity due to losing the extra membership slots. If you'd really be willing to do that though, I don't think I could accept it freely, maybe I could pay you some Viz in exchange? 

Zlinqx : You don't have to pay me, but if it helps you accept the bond then sure

Domdof : I insist really, if I knew anyone who'd be willing to sell me one I probably would've put up an offer anyway. I'll send you 200k Viz for it and you can message me on here or on runescape when you're able to trade it to me.

Just hit 105 dungeoneering (over 23 million experience) and 2555 total level! 40 levels more to go!

Yet another milestone. Just hit 90+ in all skills, which in my opinion is a pretty big milestone to hit

I haven't played Runescape in years. I remember my character level was somewhere in the 70's, and I was really into the duel arena, but sucked in the wilderness... I might get back on the game at some point to see what all has changed.
