If anyone on vizzed have used it... is edge a good browser?? I mean internet explorer is awful. Is edge just another internet explorer or should I think of it as a browser not just what you use to install firefox?

Personally I hate it but that could just be because it specifically doesn't work with my laptop and works everywhere else, but for me it's very slow, there's problems with tabs, and it's hard to get around.

Snorp02 : I personally love the browser, it starts quickly and runs decently or at least better than IE. The only problems I have with it is sometimes  it screws up with the tabs and it ends up just crashing the browsers, though everything else is solid at least to me.

I used it one time to download either Chrome or Firefox and then I stopped using it. I haven't bothered spending time trying it out at all and after reading this I don't think I will until they have addressed these problems. Even then I likely won't because Firefox and Chrome do what I want them to already.

I like how it incorporates OneNote and you can just write, highlight, and copy anything that's currently displayed on the website you're visiting. It hasn't crashed on me and I've been using it for about 3 months.

I actually haven't used it that much but in the limited time I've used it, it seems fine. Works very similar to Firefox.

I don't really bother with it at home though as I use Chrome on all my devices. The only time I use something different is on the rare occasion I'm having issues with my browser or a web program I'm trying to use.

Okay so I've been using it ever since it came out. I'm using a Toshiba Windows 8 (now 10) and I'm really unhappy with it. I don't know if it's this computer specifically but Microsoft purposely slows down Chrome so that it works at IE level. At first the videos would glitch out and you'd have to restart the video to see, but they fixed that I think. They don't have extensions you can use like adblock or something. They persistently want you to use Bing. It freezes up a lot but that might be because my computer is crap and has low CPU. Very low. If you want to delete certain things from your history, you can't. It's all or nothing. You really are better off with Chrome.

Mostly because while I do prefer the look of it, the browser is very buggy and crashed a lot essentially feeling like it wasn't really ready for release and that still seems to be the case. I'd say you're better off sticking to Firefox/Chrome/Opera or even IE... May be worth keeping an eye on though.

Before i updated my laptop, it was the only touchscreen friendly web browser i had (if i was to lazy to use a keyboard at times). I still didnt use it because it was so glitchy. So i just use Chrome or Firefox.
