Eniitan : Yeah, we do get a lot of snow in the Chicago area, but usually most of it is between mid Januray to mid February. The most snow we've gotten in one night (since I've moved out here) was the 24 inches of snow we got on Feb 2nd, 2011. Was crazy. I couldn't get out of my Apartments parking lot for 2 days because it was snowed in and needed to be plowed out! lol

Once every four to five years. My family and I have stayed at the same house for (approx.) ten years. It snowed twice; the first time we moved in and last year. Sadly, the snow is only two inches thick and it evaporates after three to seven days. Reason for this is because we're located in the desert.

I've lived where I am for about 4 years.  We get about 6-10 inches of snow on average.  I live in the mountains.  Last winter we had a blizzard.  The city hired bulldozers to pick up the snow on the main roads and dump the snow into the nearby river.

Jordanv78 : I see...thats pretty shocking to see I mean to be able not to go out and locked indoors by the snow? Now that is crazy.

Kuti_Kat : Oh so yours happens in a matters of years I see....no wonder you guys moved to somewhere where snow can't touch you lol. XD

elzath42191 : Hi I don't think I know you but pleased to meet you. Wow you live in the mountains I dunno if I should say that's cool or not. Not with the health and safety because of the snow. A blizzard is the last thing that you want. How did you survive this?

Eniitan : Thanks, I'm glad to be back

And yeah, it's been weird. Usually it'd be really snowy by now but everything is still green haha.

Eniitan :   Yeah I'm new to posting, not the gaming though.  In the mountains you get a lot of hillbillies and rednecks.  You see a lot of rebel flags.  It kind of makes me uncomfortable.  We usually get a lot of snow, so we're prepared for the worst.  heavy jackets and boots and such.  A lot of people get sick, but nothing too serious or anything that isn't cared for.  I live in a small town, so there's not a lot of roads to clear and everything is close by.

It hardly ever snows on Christmas day, or even during the week of Christmas where I live. During the month of December, I usually receive 2-3 snow days. January and February are usually the months when I get substantially more snow days. In each of the past 2 years, I missed about 2 or more weeks of school just due to snow days. I'd say a good portion of the time, it really isn't even solid snow, just some sleet and ice on the road which would hinder bus transportation. I remember during my sophomore year of high school, we received so many snow days that midterms ended up getting cancelled.....that was a great year.

As of right now, I haven't had any snow days. Hopefully I'll start seeing some in the upcoming weeks.

Eniitan:  There's a few good people, and we all stick together.  I don't plan on living here forever.  I'm getting an associates degree this spring and then I plan on moving.  My degree is in business management.

It has never snowed in Christmas around here. In fact, it has only really snowed two times in the last 50 years, the last one back in March 2010.

It would be nice to see some snow again. Our city was a delightful sight when covered by a white mantle.

It usually doesn't snow much where I live during Christmas time. The snow usually comes in during January or February. I can recall one time when it snowed on Christmas morning, though, back in 2012. It was amazing. And early this year in January, we got 3 straight weeks out of school because of snow. Let's hope it happens again.

As you know my niece, I live in Georgia which is in the southeastern part of the US. For the past couple years, we have never had any real significant amount of snow. It doesn't bother me any, however, because if we do get a couple snowflakes ( and yes, I mean snowFLAKES ) the whole city panics and shuts down. Its really inconvenient because they recommend that you don't go anywhere because of how bad the roads are. The last time we had any real snow, I remember that there were literally thousands of vehicles stranded on I-285...the interstate that goes around Atlanta. Nobody couldn't go anywhere because of the ice on the roads.

But anyways, yeah Georgia doesn't really get too much snow at all. And when we do its usually around late January - early February.

LunarDarkness2 : Its funny when its not suppose to snow in one area. It does it like a switch around or something. Did it snow for 3 weeks for you at one point as you said? Wow @.@

MattyIce : Yeah...I remember you telling me this at one point. Wow when you have at least snowflakes the whole city panics and shuts down? Now that's something I have never heard before. And because of that roads got shut down and vehicles got stranded? Its hard to drive on icy roads so it was best that happened. '-'

SuperCrash64 : I see. Your another who has rare snow income like other places as well. Some people hope it can snow for them in the place that they live. Do you wish for that as well?

It's completely random from year to year. This year, we haven't had any snow at all, and it hasn't even dipped below freezing. One year, we basically had a blizzard and our entire neighborhood was basically snowed in. So far, I have yet to see a pattern.

Eniitan :

it's more of an eh to me if it happens, it's cool if it does, but at the same I'm not concerned if it doesn't.

My body in a way is too senstive to handle playing with the snow or get snow thrown at me.

It basically feels like  a cold thing of glass being thrown at me, vs snow.

It hurts my body for some reason when snow gets thrown at me, so I can't enjoy it.

I think it's great overall though that it happens when it does snow in my area, cuz other folks can enjoy it.

I've been in Arizona for about like 4 years now.
I'm not really a fan of the snow, but I do like the cold. The part of Arizona I'm in, luckily, doesnt have snow. It does however get pretty cold! It works for me

NovemberJoy : Wow that's really surprising so a blizzard one day decided to show up out from nowhere. '-'
and as for snow I hope you do get to see a pattern of it one day

SuperCrash64 : Oh....I see I now understand a bit more on this. Sorry to hear about that crash.

Lolikon : Not all people will like the snow but some people will like the cold like you.
