Interesting. It's hard to tell if the fights are going to work exactly the same or not. It looks like it will but at the same time the fights almost looked like real time button mashing style as well. I doubt they would have changed that but if they did I'll be disappointed.

I'm so glad to see a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII remake. I've been strongly considering to get a PS4 specifically for the purpose of buying Final Fantasy VII remake, and this trailer didn't disappoint. I think I may be getting a new system next year. I just hope the Nintendo NX won't be coming out next year, or else I'll have a big decision to make as far as which I want more.

I am never sure if I love or hate these things they always look so awesome and makes the waiting part so much more harder and the worse part is knowing it will probably being in 2017 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of it's original release

The game goes from a must-buy to something I'll wait a year or two to get. You know, when it's all finished, and I can play it start to finish. Bonus points is it will be about 20 dollars cheaper later.

after finding out it is going to be released as a multi game series rather than a singular title makes me think they will probably add new parts to the story which I was hoping they would not do but still gives me a bit of hope that they are going to try and keep it as close to the core story and with all the exploring options of the original just hope they add some better side quests as there were only a few to do in the original and most of them were not that good

Not being able to do a single release is Bulls***. They're more than capable, this is just a way for them to bleed more money out of something they know will sell a ridiculous amount of copies. I would love to try out the new battle system, but the way they're setting this up, I'm not even going to play it. I might get around to it by about the time the PS5 comes out, simply to see what changes they made, but even then, I'm more likely to just watch it on Youtube, and save myself the trouble...

Are you kidding me? They aren't selling this on one disk? Well, I guess I cannot be surprised by it, as they did it with both Final Fantasy 10 and 13. Final Fantasy 15 is on one disk (correct me if I am wrong), so why would you put 7 on more than one. I agree with Mynamescox44, as it is bull for them to take more money for it, and they'll probably sell it again as one disk for the PS5 and next gen Xbox, or maybe even the NX. Who knows, but I still want the game.

I'll likely wait 'til I can get a copy of this second hand at a pawn shop. If they were going to do anything in episodic releases, they could have at least just redone the whole compilation and release each entry in the compilation as an episode. I' like to see a remake of Dirge of Cerberus, personally.

Oh, btw... They aren't done making it yet. If you thought episodic releases was a shock, wait for microtransactions....
