So I saw Krampus today and I really liked it, full of a few light scares, and a ton of laughs. I heard a few bad reviews of the movie, and there were some scenes that were just plain stupid, but overall the movie was so cool. The mix of scares with comedy were all really good and most, if not all of the characters were really fun to watch.

A big part of the movie was the ending, which pretty much flipped over what most horror movies, or what some movies in general do, and it was amazing. Pretty much made it so both sides won a bit. Even if I thought the movie was bad, the ending would have made up for it because the final couple minutes kept getting more intense and awesome.

I'm a little baby when it comes to horror movies, so unless I see something that actually intrigues me in something in the horror genre, I generally try to steer clear of it.

It doesn't help that I have an insanely overactive imagination that already creates a living embodiment of my fears, and that's without any external fuel. No thanks.

When I was going to watch a baking video on youtube some weeks ago about a month....I saw this advert I liked it at first but then things got really scary and only once I saw this. I got a nightmare from it and I was like seriously? In my dream. I would like to watch it but I can't now not after what happened when I first watched the trailer if it. '-'

These types of low quality "horror" movies are usually best watched via Netflix or downloaded. I'm not a huge fan of the genre overall, so I almost never see them in the theater. I actually laughed when I saw the trailer, so I'm not expecting a whole lot.

I saw this movie in the theaters and it was hilarious.

It was not intended to be a horror movie and you can tell, the whole thing is more like a comedy with a tragic and spooky atmosphere. It's literally Home Alone with evil spirits.

Krampus is now one of my favorite Christmas movies.

alexanyways : Even if they completely kept the horror aspect separate from the comedy aspect it would have still been mostly comedy, but they didn't do that, I mean heck, the scenes with the gingerbread men were something you would expect from a movie series like Scary Movie.

Edit: This literally is a pg13 Christmas version of Scary movie or a scarier version of Harold and Kumar Christmas.
