I haven't been very active lately, but the reason for that no longer exists! I've finished all four of my first term exams !

I studied a lot for these. I finished two out of four of my exams two days ago, and I don't think I did too bad. I think I did best on the English literature and writing one. I'm kind of slow, though, so I only wrote a little more than 3 out of the 5 paragraphs I had to write in the essay . At least the passage in the exam was entertaining, and I actually had fun answering the questions about it since I love analyzing characters and all that stuff! The story was called The Interlopers, and it was pretty dark. For some reason, my class always gets dark stories in the exams . Last year, it was The Telltale Heart! In the essay, I had to compare The Interlopers to a story we took this year called The Most Dangerous Game which I LOVED. I had to compare how the ways by which the protagonists dealt with the conflicts in their respective stories contributed to the main idea, and I felt real smart while doing so, haha !

As for the science exam, I don't think I got a bad grade on it, but there were some confusing multiple choice problems where I thought more than one answer was correct, and others where I thought none of them were !

The last two exams I took today. Math... was difficult :. All my classmates call me Calculator Brain and Walking Encyclopedia, but I'm getting to that age when I guess I can't be that excellent at everything . It was hard. I really don't think math is one of my strong points, but if it is, I'm certainly not as enthusiastic about it as I am about English! I studied like crazy, but I still left a lot of questions unanswered because I just got stuck and didn't have enough time to figure them out. Also, there was a song stuck in my head . Curse you, catchy music! If I don't fail, I bet it's the geometry part that'll save me. I'm pretty good at geometry. The algebra, though... yikes! It gave me quite a bit of trouble . 

Lastly, and surprisingly, I think I actually did WELL on my Arabic exam ! Like, better than math! That's never happened before XD! I'm glad I'm getting better at Arabic since my parents and my grandma keep telling me I should, haha ! 

And that's pretty much it for the exams!

Sorry about the inactivity, again, guys . I know I should have said more about it, but, oh, well. Getting these exams done has been a HUGE weight off my chest, and now I can finally relax and talk to you guys more! 

Now for a quick update about everything that's been going on with me since the last time I posted an update about myself (which makes me feel conceited even though I know it shouldn't :):

-I've made an amazing new friend!

-I've reconciled with Malik, my friend who I thought was ignoring me .

-I've been drawing and animating more (I even considered presenting all the information I've said in this thread using a video, but that would have taken too much time XP.)

-I've learned how to play a few more little tunes on my silly toy piano X).

-I've been maturing. I don't know how to explain it, really, but I just feel... wiser, you know? It's a nice feeling, but I am nostalgic for the good, ol' days when ignorance was bliss.~

-I've removed my braces!!!

And, finally, as Vizzed's current default layout reminds me, it's my favorite time of year again - Christmastime !

I love Christmas, and I'm really getting into the Christmas spirit! I don't know why, but I've always been crazily enthusiastic about it XD! I know it's beloved worldwide, but you guys really should see how I go on and on about it in real life, haha! I give the whole house a makeover in, like, one afternoon . We have lots of Santa hats to place around XP. Also, my dad bought a new Christmas tree this year! Our old one was really falling apart, haha. The new one is smaller and shorter, but I don't care - it's so cute and just as Christmas-y XD!

Anyway, I just called my mom and told her how I think I did on the exams honestly, and she wished me luck. I'm celebrating the end of my first term exams today by:

TRIMMING THE TREE WITH MY FAMILY, EATING SMOKED SALMON WITH CREAM CHEESE AND CAPERS ON A BAGUETTE (MY DAD HASN'T MADE THAT IN AGES), AND BEATING THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: SKYWARD SWORD ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!

It's about time! Sheesh... I got that game on my twelfth birthday .

(*Cough, cough,* I plan to beat Hero Mode later on without walk-throughs, *cough, cough.*)

I envy you, Kimmeh. My exams will take place on January, with some projects for university taking place in late December, so I won't fully enjoy Christmas like this.

How wouldn't you do best on English? Vizzed is our testing field for that!! Teachers should allow us to show them the many posts we make here as proof of our good level!! 

I know the feeling of having a song stuck in your head during an exam. I always walk towards the classroom with my headphones on, and I seem to not learn the lesson Well, probably I would learn if I didn't pass, but I manage to (somehow) pass them.

It's nice to have you back and free from such weight over your shoulders. Come enjoy Vizmas with us!

I'm glad all that stuff is done and over! English is always a fun thing to go through. Only thing is....WHY ON EARTH DOES EVERYONE ELSE THINK GEOMETRY IS EASY AND ALGEBRA IS NOT?! Although if I write it all down on paper half the time I get it right, and other times I'm off by one...And the worst is when not a single digit in your first answer is even right! Although strange enough algebra seems to click with me pretty well. Although Geometry is, in an abstract way, probably the closer thing to useful in real life. I'm getting better at it, but that active disliking is still there. lol
Anyway, ramble over. That dinner sounds amazing! I've never had all those things all at once. Well, bagles and cream cheese yes, salmon only had once in my life, and capers I have never had before.
I'm glad that life seems to be getting better for you Kimmy. It's always great news to hear!

A user of this : The funny thing is - I actually am better at algebra most of the time ! Haha, it was so weird that I did better on the geometry . I thought geometry would be the thing to make me fail, but I honestly do think it saved me this time XD! Also, I don't know what you would think about them, but I actually personally don't like capers very much . Maybe my taste's changed since the last time I had them, but I think I'll probably still pluck them out and eat them before everything else, haha!

Darn, I've still got this next week, although I only have two Final Exams coming up for it, so I won't be too busy, hopefully.

Also, I hated Geometry. Since I'm not a visual learner, it was a royal pain for me to be able to get through it.

Cool, I didn't start my exams yet, those aren't until next week or the weeks after that but luckily for me, Wednesday is the last day of class and then I don't go back to class until March so that's a whole 2 and a half months off.

SWTerra : Aw, that sucks! Sorry to hear about that, man . I myself am a visual learner, so geometry wasn't too challenging for me to go through. I hope what you're learning now appeals to the type of learner you are, because I know how annoying it is when you have to deal with a style you aren't comfortable with :. It's seriously affected my grades before, and that's for sure.

NintendoFanKimmy : Well, luckily, I was somehow still able to manage a B grade in that class, which is still very good. But man, did I have to work at that class.

Well done Kim. It must had been very hard for you. As I know you were in and out of vizzed and didn't have time to talk. But I understand. Things like this will tend to happen. With the results I see there were some good. And not so good grades but that is ok! You can improve its the only thing that can help us push more further to be a better person in life. And have things the way we want it to be. You can have your rest now finally! Right?

Eniitan : Righteo, big sis, I can finally have my rest now ! I don't have school tomorrow, so it's a three-day-long weekend, and when I do go back to school, it's just one week of Term 2, so they're just going to introduce us to the basics of the new stuff we're going to learn, and then the Christmas break will commence ! I can't wait!
