Okay, before I say anything else, it's going to be a SMASHING weekend! I'll get back to that later.

Anyway, here's a small recap of what's been happening with me recently:

School started exactly one month ago, and I've been getting good grades . This past week has been busy, though - I had five tests, and two were on the same day because we had a day off on Wednesday! Not complaining about that, though, haha . On Tuesday, we could come in pink instead of wearing the school uniforms because it was Breast Cancer Awareness Day. I was so caught up in studying, though, that I completely forgot about buying something pink to wear . Surprisingly, most of the people who did wear pink were guys! Considering the immature mindset I thought most of them had that "pink is girly," I sure was impressed! We skipped class and went to the playground. We all stood along a huge chalk drawing on the ground depicting the pink ribbon and held pink papers up in the air. The school photographer was on the roof and snapped a shot. I can't wait to see it!

There's a new guy from Australia in my class, and it was love at first sight . I'm too shy to say anything, though, haha. But we get along well! Also, the latest thing between us is constantly sharing horrible puns xD. 

I don't know if any of you remember me mentioning Malik and Rayan, my two friends I made last year, but Rayan left, and Malik doesn't stop by and talk that much anymore. I don't know what's up with that, but oh, well .

I still hang out with the same people: my twin sister, my best friend, and a newer friend. The four of us sit and chat during recess, as usual, but the newer friend is becoming so different from me that it's kind of awkward sometimes. My best friend is becoming more religious, and that's okay, but I hope the "you're a bad influence" joke we always said as kids because of my wild attitude doesn't become serious. As for my twin sister, she's still the closest person to me in my life .

And I'm still as crazy as ever when hanging around with Hassan, my closest guy friend besides Green xD. When us two come together, we really "bring life to the classroom," according to my friends and teachers, haha! We laugh at everything, and somehow we can make a joke out of everything. 

Anyway, my new math teacher nice, and she's the activities coordinator, so being good in her class could mean more school trips . My French teacher is the same one I had last year, and we all used to be scared to death of her because she's the coordinator of the French department, but now we used our common sense and figured out: she's the coordinator of the French department. She runs the show! Maybe it could be a nice show if we behave . My new Arabic teacher is nice, but it's a humongous class, so she can't get to know me as well as my other teachers can. My new science teacher gets angry kind of easily, but I like her. Also, I have a new English teacher, and I LOVE her. She's my favorite teacher this year, and probably my second favorite of all time. Who's the first? The English teacher I had for the past two years. And who's she? THE COORDINATOR OF THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT. How lucky can one get? I also just love the class itself. It's tiny, the exact same size it was last year, and "The Most Dangerous Game," the story we took this year, was so good that the unappreciative people my classmates typically are actually SAID it was good. And the test we had about it? We had to write TEN paragraphs in it. One of them had to include new words we learned from the story, five had to be answers to questions about the story, and four of them had to make up an essay about the story. That's more than we ever had to write in any English EXAM we had before. And what did my classmates say? The classmates who usually complain about having to write a lot? "Miss, it was a fun test." I'm going to like Grade 9. A LOT.

That's pretty much it .

Why is this going to be a smashing weekend? I'm going over to Green's for a sleepover soon, and we're going to play a LOT of SSB3 and SSB4! What a BLAST that's going to be! We never beat Tabuu, but we're going to try hard to this time! It's going to be a lot of fun! 

But first, I'm going to watch WALL-E with my dad and sis. He has a problem with a disc in back that's spilling out between two vertebrae . Surgery's gonna fix that soon, though, and he's taking it easy for a while and working at his desk less. So now we're going to watch WALL-E. We love WALL-E :3.

Right when I read the words "Smashing Weekend" in the title, I almost knew it had to do with you playing Smash Bros. XD

Nice update! It's funny that you'd mention falling in love with the new guy, since I fell in love with a new girl in my class this school year She has a boyfriend like almost every other girl I become friends with (she didn't tell me, nor did I ask, she told one of her other friends while she was sitting next to me. That was awkward). And now my assigned seat is next to her! We don't share puns though. There's only one person I often share puns with, and he doesn't even share puns with me much. My puns are... decent, but they're horrible according to most people.

I'll be praying that your dad will be OK after his surgery. That sounds extremely painful. Keep having a great school year! I should probably give an update on mine and then summon you. All I've talked about to vizzed about my school year is drama.

This post has reminded me of SSB3, memories are starting to flood through my mind. I now want to play it again, hoping that my skills didn't get rusty.

Nice to see you're having such good times in real life. I really hope everything goes well with your dad and his surgery. 

Keep enjoying your time at school! You will really need good memories like these when you get out of it, I know that for a fact.

EX Palen : Well, falling in love can be painful. It's often a situation like NintendoFanKimmy's where you're too shy to say anything, or mine where you fall in love with people that are already with someone else.

To stay on topic: I'm sure Green is going to tell me all about you guys playing Smash Bros. since all 3 of us enjoy it
