This makes me interested, in what kind of site do you hear that? I mean, on gaming sites such as this one, it is commonly accepted that the majority of members are boys, but never would you hear someone here say "there are no girls".

I'm sure it's because of chat rooms and the like. Most people lie in some way on the internet, and a common one would be gender. Don't take those kinds of comments personally, there are plenty of women on the internet. Maybe they've been fooled too many times before, but again, you shouldn't be offended because of some ignorant comment.

   It's the internet, plenty of people don't care about what they say, or how it affects others. You just ignore it and move on.

Thanks to say that but it was harsh for me to hear that and I will leave romstation a france emulator website because of those kind of stupidities because I did not like that sentence and the fact that next they wanted a photo to prove it.

Ah... considering they've been vocal about it as a group, were being serious about it and not just fooling around, I don't think I'd ever be accepted there as a "girl"... But anyway, if the culture there doesn't fit you, you should consider the other friendly places around. Emuparadise's community has been good so far. As for gaming news, hacking and homebrews, I'll go with Gbatemp if you're after a good community.

If I were to take a guess, I'd say 85% of online gaming communities are men, based off of averages from a few sites I've been on that show the Male/Female ratio. If someone were to say there are no girls on the internet, I'd probably ask them if they've actually been on the internet. Facebook alone has probably millions and millions of girls.
