On Tuesday, 9/29/2015, from 5 - 8 PM (central time zone) we'll all be listening to and rating the songs submitted to the NEC Music Competition. Around 30 seconds before each song is done, I'll put up a poll which will allow everyone to vote. I will be hosting this event on my Twitch channel and I'll be giving away a total of $200 worth of steam games and/or 200,000 Viz to random viewers of the stream so the longer you stick around and vote, the better your chances of walking away with a cash prize. To qualify for the cash and Viz prizes, all you have to do is vote on the music and follow my channel.

If you win a raffle, you get to choose whether you want the Viz prize or whether you want to pick a steam game from a list of steam games which I'll provide sometime before the event begins. If you can't stick around for the entire thing that's fine but it'd be cool if you could stop by and hang out in the chat for however long you can. It's usually a lot of fun chatting with vizzed users, talking about video games and listening to awesome video game music.

Cool, I'll be leaving work around 6:00 PM ET so I'll be able to see most of the stream this time. Hoping I can win a raffle for once.

gamerforlifeforever2 : I made sure to have it later in the day this time so that people getting off work and school can make it in time to catch some or most of it.

My last class ends at 6 that day, so ill make sure to stay at school a bit after to watch for like an hour or two before I start heading home.

Unfortunately this contest like the last one will also have a short stream due to lack of submissions. The last contest was because of issues with the RGR plugin, and this one probably because of unfamiliarity with the console. Hopefully the next contest will bring the heat again.

So the NEC Music Stream is on the same day as the deadline for the actual competition itself? I make sure to stick around for most of it ,i got lots of free time.

Had to call off work due to illness. I'll be there at 6. That stream should cheer me up.

Awesome, I think I'll be able to catch it this time around since I'm leaving from work right now and I don't have a lot of stuff to do today (surprisingly lol), even if I don't catch the whole thing it's still better than last time, where I pretty much caught nothing due to arriving at the very end.

mickmick93 : This stream will be short but it will be longer than the last stream. We ended up with 66 games. I like having music competitions that introduce users to games that they're not familiar with. We usually have too many repeat or popular songs in these music streams, it's nice having new and unfamiliar songs.
