As the title says, What are some songs from video games that you did not like at first but ended up liking? I will tell mine I did not like any of the characters theme songs in sonic 06 and now I like all but Elise but who are we kidding she should not be in that game. Anyway I did not like the character themes but I HATED Dreams of an Absolution but after listening to it a few more times I ended up really liking it and it is now one of my favorite songs next to sonic heroes, His World, City escape, and all the elder scrolls themes and of course most of the songs in Mario games.

Lets see....some music from final fantasy 10-2. The battle music for instance. Then strangely as I played it more I began to like it. Which I find pretty weird. It grows on you after sometime right? Champions of norrath. They replayed the same music over and over again. But I grew to like it because of it was a mix of calm and action music. ^^

I definitely did not like His World from Sonic 06. When I first heard this part of the song..

I shook my head, nope ..

I guess I would say some of the songs from Final Fantasy X, it was the first songs that I heard from the series and i didn't like them at first but after hearing them over and over from playing the game so much I had started to like it.

I would say the Nemesis Battle Theme from Bravely Default (what is with me in BD today?). I hated that song because it kept reminding me of the many times I died when facing high leveled nemesis. However, like most video game music, it grew on me.

I was like no, I can't have this nonsense. So I went to go and look for the instrumental music for his world then I felt much happier. It is amazing music. The game seriously has the worst loading times and some of the funniest glitches. There are two glitches that you can do that let you skip right to the ending credits of the game. You should listen to the Perfect Dark Gaia theme (final boss) from Sonic Unleashed, it's pretty awesome.

I don't want to turn this into a rant about 06 but.... the loading... once it froze and I lost a lot of data and.... kingdom valley with shadow... enough said. Perfect dark Gaea was also a very rewarding song... I think all games with the theme song orchestrated or normal as the last boss theme is very very rewarding.

Eniitan : I kind of felt the same way until heard a instrumental version in smash and that really got me liking it with instrumental but then after a few months (during that time was on a 4 month rage quit) I came back to good old 06 (joke. The game is bad) I really liked his world. Of course I liked all hail shadow the most.

I would have to say Kirby green greens from Super smash brothers  melee. I didn't really feel as if the whole happy kirby theme fitted a genre of a fighting game, but over time I got used to it and it's much better than some of brawls vgm's.

The final dungeon theme has such an intriguing beat I always liked when I watched my father (yes, yes!) play the game.
