Does anybody have any recommendations for DS games? I am familiar with all the Pokémon Games for Nintendo DS and the Ace Attorney games. I am also familiar with Fire Emblem games for it. Any and all suggestions are open!

Thanks!

Snce you already know about the Pokemon games, my list of must buy DS games include Mario Kart DS, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, and The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass. I honestly think that Phantom Hourglass is better than Spirit Tracks, but a lot of other people think Spirit Tracks is better. I suppose buying both of them would be a good choice. There's also some great DS remakes such as Super Mario 64 DS, which lets you also play as Yoshi, Luigi and Wario. Also there's Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy IV. Other than that, my DS library consists mainly of Pokemon games and spinoffs.

Can't believe I forgot to mention Dark Dawn. Well, maybe I forgot because the GBA ones are better. Don't get me wrong, I still think Dark Dawn's a great game, but it doesn't compare to the first 2 Golden Sun games. I really wish that Camelot would make another Golden Sun game though, it's been too long.

Well, for regular DS games, I would suggest Eragon, its a pretty cool, easy game.

I recommend Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, Drawn to Life, Kirby Superstar Ultra, and the Professor Layton series. They are all great games. I think you'd like them.

I'm going to suggest one of my most beloved DS games...

Contact.

It's not well known, I don't think so. It's a English game from Japan, with RPG elements. The story is quite unique and funny too, and it might be a bit hard for you to find this game unless you order online.

Well, if you like turn-based tactics games, like FF Tactics, I'd recommend Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth. The combat system is pretty in-depth and may seem a little intimidating, but there's a bunch of cool tutorials, that explain pretty much all you need to know. It's one of my favorites.

I'd also recommend the Drawn to Life games. There's two of them, and you can actually buy them both in the same cartridge, they put them together. They let you draw your playable character, draw your weapons, draw the platforms you jump on, etc... And if you don't like something you've already made, you can just edit whenever you want. One of the more innovative games I've played. And it's fun.

Oh, and also Scribblenaughts. You pretty much spell anything you can think of, and, more often that not, the game will make it for you. It's pretty detailed the amount of things you can create. For example, you can spell 'dinosaur', and I think it gives you a T-Rex. Or, you can spell 'Pterodactyl', 'Stegosaurus', 'Velociraptor', 'Triceratops', 'Parasaurolophus', and it has all those individual dinosaurs. The point of the game is to collect all the stars, by creating whatever you think can solve the current problem. There's an endless amount of ways to complete stages, it's amazing.

Dang, a lot of the good games were mentioned already. But yeah Mario and Luigi series is definitely a great choice.

Another great game to play is The World Ends with You, an rpg by Square Enix.

I recommend both DS games in the Mario & Luigi series. (Partners in Time, and Bowser's Inside Story). They're fun and hilarious RPG games. I also recommend Super Mario 64 DS, it's a very long game with many minigames.

If you're into a few classic arcade games I recommend Namco Museum DS as well!

WarioWare: Touched! and Rhythm Heaven are two of my favorites. They alone are reasons to own a DS, in my opinion. They're filled with hilarious charm and personality, and are, of course, extremely fun.

If you have an older model of the DS that still has the GBA cartridge slot, you might want to check out the Guitar Hero games. I thought they were pretty fun, considering just what they had to do to get it to work on a portable console. The reason you need the GBA cartridge slot is because you have to plug a "Guitar Grip" into it to play the game properly. You push down on the fret buttons on the Guitar Grip, and you slide the stylus on the touch screen to strum. It's a very interesting way to adapt a game for a portable console, and it works quite well.
