I think most of us teenagers, and even some adults, are really bugged by their parents and siblings. What do your parents and/or siblings do to bug you?

My dad doesn't get on my nerves, but my mom usually bugs me whenever I ask her to help me with something. She's either too busy with my little brother or she gets frustrated with me.

And my siblings bug me whenever they're with me in a public place, especially when my friends are around. My brother and sister are highly embarrassing. XD

PacmanandMariofan : Well, my brother sometimes take my account on other websites. (Very much like how he did here.) That gets on my nerves. I had to change my password on all of them to prevent this. My sister is okay. She focusing more on school than anything else. And both of my parents are decreased now, but when they were alive, they took good care of and taught us many things that helped us in life. I'll never forget that.

Sorry to hear about both of your parents passing away. I'm sure they'll be remembered by the people who knew them, especially you and your siblings.

PacmanandMariofan : Thank you, pac. That means a lot to me.

My sister and mom love to chew me out for any reason possible in public places. I hate having that kind of attention drawn to me, and when they start causing a scene for whatever reason they can think of, it's VERY annoying.

As for my dad, he used to call me "honey" sometimes. I LOATHE being called that and one day it really got to me- so I loudly reprimanded him and he stopped forever. At least he's more "reasonable" than my sister and mom.

Boxia : Wow, that's terrible. I can relate to your dad calling you honey. My mom used to often say that even though I'm growing up I'm still her baby. A lot of parents say that, I'm sure. Whenever she'd say that, it was pretty embarrassing and I wanted to shout "Stop it!"

Thankfully she stopped even though I rarely said anything about it.

Well, my dad nor my mom bugs me. My mom usually teases me like one would tease with a teenage friend. (Yeah, me and my mom are able to joke like that, I don't know how.) But my sister? She bugs the HELL out of me. I have a friend who comes over a lot. And when he does, My sister is right behind us, trying to squeeze her way into our friendship to the point where it honestly gets annoying. She makes up excuses why she's near us as well. We have a basketball net, with a punching bag next to it. Me and my friend like to go down there to talk, but she'll come down and say "I just want to punch the punching bag". And when we get mom, she'll breakdown. Crying that she has no friends. I can somewhat understand, she's only 8 and has no friends (all her ex-friends can no longer get in touch with her.) but she constantly annoys us. Asking mom if she can do something NEAR us so that she can try to get in on the conversation. And since I'm 13 and he's 14...We say things she should NOT hear. She's hear some stuff already, repeated it, and I've got in trouble for it. But yeah.

Mega Mewtwo X : That's what my 7-year-old brother does except for the complaining that he has no friends. Thankfully he doesn't complain about that, and he has plenty of friends. But he's obsessed with all my friends. Sadly, often times I'm going through emotional problems (they usually don't last long) and need to talk to my friends as much as possible, but I can't. I can't unless I tell my brother to leave us alone, and if I do he's very whiny which makes things worse.

My brother is also the repeat-everything-everyone-says type, and that's why my language is very restricted around him. I don't swear or anything like that but if I mention something he likes he'll whine to have it instantly. He's very spoiled so he gets it.

Oh man... this is going to be a long post. I will start with my dad but the story on him isn't really long. Thankfully I don't live with him. My dad is an alchohlic and he abused me emotionally all the time growing up espeically my brother. He gets mean and when I say mean I mean really evil... the type of person that bursts out for nothing. He told me how worthless I was and just you name it.

My mom well...  me and her get along most of the time but sometimes we get into arguments. She doesn't treat me fairly much at all. She expects so much out of me because I'm the 'older child' and I just feel like it's unfair. Especially days when I'm trying to do good and my little sister starts being evil to me.

 For starters my little sister is a thief which you already know this. One example that happened earlier this morning she came in here begging to use my only pair of earphones after she broke my other sisters earphones I told her no... so she steals my youngest oldest sisters pair of earphones and runs outside.

She is a sad story and I don't get why she feels like she can steal whatever she wants whenever she wants. She never leaves me alone and bothers me constantly. One morning she wouldn't let me sleep because she wanted my extra computer mouse and I told her no because she ruins and breaks everything.

I don't trust her and I wish she would grow up sometimes. Hopefully in the future she will grow up but right now she acts like a 2 year old. Me and my brother and my youngest oldest sister get along pretty well. Me and my youngest oldest sister argue sometimes but that is to be expected lol but my brother lives in another state so I only get to see him possibly once a year.

It sucks and I miss him. I don't recall ever arguing with him. It might of been because he was 9 before I was even born but I am unsure. I have a good family overall but some of the downsides are just terrible. I even took back my job so I can get away from home. I was so happy working and when I quit things just went pretty sour. I'm glad I got my job back. I start working again tomorrow so I will be away from home alot which is great.

Bintsy : Even if your job is rough, remember what your job is getting you away from.

It seems to be common for alcoholics to be really mean, same with people that smoke cigarettes. I'm really sorry to hear that your dad gave you emotional abuse, that is unacceptable. I'm also once again sorry to hear about your sister, hopefully she learns her lesson someday and your mom will be more strict with her.

Lets see...my mum would complain on days end of things that, are unnecessary to complain about. Me and my siblings will have to keep her quiet at times. She even does it when the person is there. My brother on the other hand...likes to use his last finger to try and put it up my nose for some reason. And I don't even know why he does that! I have already told you about my sister on another thread.

My family annoys me a lot anyway, but I think the most annoying thing is when they constantly feel as if I can't do anything. They constantly feel that they need to check up on me, when I don't want them to.
I'm in my second year of college, so I expect to be treated that way, not like a five year old!

OH THIS IS FUN!

My mom always wants to try to spend time with me. I get that, seeing as I'm the one kid who spends all his time in his room and doesn't talk to anyone. Still annoys me though...

I don't really talk to my sister, so uhh we're cool I guess.

My older brother believes that nothing is his fault, the cats belong to him, and must complain about everything.

Younger brother is a spoiled, rage gamer, and always wants to play with me even though fights always break out.

Oh, and my cats try to steal my food. Yes, they count as family.

My dad always wants me to do things quicker. That's probably the most annoying thing someone can do, just let me work at my own tempo. 
Especially in the morning, just leave me alone

Fridge : My parents check up on me too much as well. Then they get upset when I don't answer their texts within 20 minutes

paper luigi : My younger brother is spoiled as well. It seems that every 2 weeks he gets a bunch of new toys. Most of his toys he doesn't even play with.

PacmanandMariofan : He's getting less spoiled now days, but he still think he deserves everything. But at least he'll share some of his games time to time.

Out of everyone in my family, my brother is easily the most obnoxious and he gets on my nerves the most. My parents give me the lame option to just ignore him. This doesn't work. He is a new breed of obnoxious that simply can't be ignored. He is spoiled, whiny, wimpy, boisterous, and he doesn't have to work for anything since it is all given to him. He complains about things anyone else in the world would be glad to have like food, an education, and a bed to sleep in. Aside from him, everyone else in my family is bearable for the most part. No one else bothers me to the degree that my younger brother does.

One thing my family does that I absolutely hate doing is taking pictures. I could be taking out the trash and my Mom will try to snap a photo dedicated to the moment (Not really, but you get the picture.....see what I did there?). It's annoying because I'm not a picture person, never have and probably never will. There are a bunch of little things my family do that are really annoying, but I'd be here all day explaining it. I'm not saying I'm perfect because I'm not, but I don't intentionally go out of my way to pester anyone.

Razor-987 : Ignoring isn't a very good option for most people nowadays, they'll just bug you more and more until you crack. I'm not much of a picture person either, so it drives me crazy when my family members sneak picture of me. I always notice because their camera has a flash.

Well, my mother used to bust into my room on weekdays and bother me about home work relentlessly on days end.

I am 32, and I have ABSOLUTELY NO souvenir of my father EVER apologizing sincerely. He is pride incarnate.

On her side, my mother has an arrogant sense of victory. When I admit she was right, she would keep bugging me. Plus she does not listen properly, which made my father (justifiably) angry many times.
