Hello, I have been playing games off and on here at Vizzed.com for almost three years now, and have decided that I should probably get rid of this "newbie" status of mine, I have had it all this time because I did not post in the boards.   Why do I always sound so darn formal with these things?

Dayterra : Hi Dayterra and welcome to the Vizzed Boards! I know exactly how you feel, I disliked the Newbie status a lot so I posted for a few days and I became a member. Nothing is wrong with being formal don't you think? What kind of games did you play in those three years and what games do you plan to play on Vizzed in the future?

Also if you need help with something on the Board, you always can PM the Local Moderators. They are all happy to help you out.

Now that you are here, hopefully you will see that we are a great community with lots of cool things to talk about.

So since you are here for gaming, what are some of your favorite games to play while on Vizzed?

Welcome to the forums!! A great and friendly community awaits you with its arms wide open. 

It's not easy to turn from an active gamer into an active poster. I myself didn't get to post that much until this year, and that's only because I decided to surf through the forums and see what I found.

You only need 8 more posts to finally get rid of that newbie status. I'm sure you will find lots of places to post in if you do a little search. I hope you attain the member rank soon, and happy posting!

When I started I never even cared about the status, but now I still don't but when it's higher it's better. Welcome to the boards of Vizzed. Hope you find that the place is a good community and has great pastimes. Be sure to visit regularly. The more the better. So, tell the place of yourself. What is your favorite game? What do you like to do besides play games. What are your favorite aspects in life, such as color, movie/show, etc. Be sure to follow the rules, be nice, and, last but not least, be sure to have fun!

Hello Dayterra. So glad to see that you decided to post a little. Hopefully you keep on hanging around the forums with us even after the tenth post.

If you've been here for three years, I'm sure you must have found quite a few games that you like. What genres do you prefer? Or do you have favorite systems? I personally favor MAME and PSX myself. I love the pick and play feel of MAME titles, and the PSX just has so many classic greats.

Hopefully we meet around here again soon.

Oh, I plan to stick around at the least, although I'm really busy with work and all that "real life" stuff.   here on Vizzed I normally play nostalgic games from SNES and N64, but sometimes I'll see one and think, "that is the next on the list."

I like tactical games like Ogre Battle and Ogre Tactics a bunch, I personally maintain that Ogre Battle: Person of Lordly Caliber on the N64 is the best game ever made, but that's my opinion and you're welcome to disregard it.   I also like somewhat silly games such as Space Station Silicon Valley, Banjo Kazooie, and Conker's Bad Fur Day.   Odd, I just realized that with the sole exception of Ogre Tactics, everything I used as an example is N64.   Ah! Another oddball one I like is ChibiRobo.   Yes I know its a GameCube game, and vizzed doesn't have GameCube emulation, but there you go, one that's not N64.   Although I heard there was a semi-sequel to it on a portable device, I haven't bothered to go looking for details yet.

Being a newbie isn't that fun, I was a newbie for a few days and I already couldn't wait to post so I could reach the Member rank. XD

Welcome to Vizzed, Dayterra! The boards ere are pretty neat. But you can easily become a normal member, or even Trusted. I hope you continue to enjoy the RGR!

If you like tactical games like Ogre Battle. I think you should check out Fire Emblem. Those games are right up your alley.
