Eminem's Legacy defines my life pretty much. I go to counseling, and he doesn't help me all that much. I don't socialize too much in public, as well as not having a father there for me. He literally left when he found out Mother was pregnant with his child. It's literally me against everyone else, the only person I have there for me is Mother.

The song literally explains my life. I have nobody there for me, I'm pretty much the least popular guy around and my father isn't even there for me. It's like my whole life, but in verse form.

A song that defines a part of my life? I guess I'd have to say.... The Tempest, by Pendulum if I'm being honest. It's not so much that the lyrics literally represent a moment in my life, I was never chasing after someone who kept messing up thier life and expected me to fix it, more of they figuratively represent a period in my life. I could see that I was losing myself to some really s***** emotions and thought patterns but I let myself keep going, further and further... Always making sure to keep up appearences though, never letting anyone see this one side of me, the side that couldn't deal with things and kept begging my other side for help. But I let it burn in the fire it was stoking, I let it set itself alight when I was alone. I can only imagine how far I would have kept going if I didn't let my guard that one time....

I'm not sure about songs that "define my life" but I do know that there are a bunch of songs that remind me of different phases of my Childhood.

Michael Jackson defines a lot of my early childhood memories of starting to like music on my own. As well as bands like Van Halen and The Cure.

Then as I started getting older, some songs that remind me of my early teen years are songs like "Smells like Teen Spirit" "Jane Says" and "Even Flow"

A couple of songs that remind me of my HS years and graduating are "Graduate" - (By third eye blind) and "Champagne Supernova" and "Good Riddance (time of your life"

There's a ton more but those are some off the top of my head.

"Creep" by Stone Temple Pilots is one. "I'm half the man I used to be" is an accurate description of my life since that exchange trip I did during my 20th year on this planet. Ever since I am more sociable and more prone to accept criticism (although THAT still needs some work).

Another one would the Smash album by the Offspring. That was my favorite album in my senior year in high school and an excellent outlet for all the accumulate negative feelings I had from being a loner. Even today "Not the one" is the song I think about when I feel like "the weight of the world is on my shoulders."
