Hey all!

It's been a solid 11 months and 7 days since my last milestone thread, so I figured hitting 5k posts was well past due.

Last milestone thread was dedicated to my 2nd year anniversary (three year is coming up here in about a month), and also was dedicated to me leaving Vizzed. My plan, for those who weren't there, was to leave the site but remain an admin on the Minecraft server (minecraft is a good way to burn time and relax after work, but Vizzed was too awesome for me to put further on the back burner, which is what I needed to do in order to keep my offline life in order).

Obviously, that attempt failed. EideticMemory managed to convince David to promote all Server Admins to site staff, and create the 'Minecraft Server Admin' staff role. Of course, this comes with a monthly CP quota, which EM used to eventually convince me to return (I think I managed to stay away for about a month, maybe a week more). Since then, I've become a Local again, and have had many more positive experiences on the site.

Speaking of EideticMemory, 5,000 posts was a milestone we sought to reach together. He eventually got bored of waiting for me to keep up, and decided to rack up a solid 1325 posts more as well since hitting 5k. He decided to leave Vizzed just 11 days ago, so he unfortunately won't ever see this post (at least, not for a while), but my 5,000th post is dedicated to him and the legacy he left here.

I'll have much more to say in my 3 year anniversary thread. Until then, thanks for putting up with me through 5,000 posts!

Cooooooooongratuuuuuuuuulations~! *the voice of the Super Smash Bros Narrative echos across this post, a ring of a short piece of music screaming victory. A panel breaks, revealing that all you got as a reward was a crummy sticker you had already picked up hours ago. You unlock a new thing, but it turned out to be a recolour of another thing, and the recolour of the thing that already existed is terrible. However you can still hear the clapping and applause of reaching this milestone. You're so late game that the unlockables are pretty much trivial now, as you pretty much have all the awesome end game stuff. Reality breaks back, and you are reading a post from some guy on a forum. He seems to have written a wall of text of some arbitrary stuff. You then begin to wonder if this pile of stuff had some layer system in which a post within a post could function. A Stable Time Loop, but with posts. Minutes, but as words. Overly long and far removed metaphors as clocks. You then forget what the post is about and ignore it, deciding it is tl;dr and decide to thank this random guy for his sentimental value in the weight of weightless text. Reality breaks.*

A tough milestone to crack unless you are determined. You have the tip of my hat. It's also interesting to read on the history of a milestone behind the person trying to achieve it. Congrats, or did I say that already?

I remember back when you made your 4k post in the post thread, my that was a while ago. 5K is pretty cool, do you plan on hitting 6K anytime soon?

Congrats on reaching 5,000 posts! I'm late to congratulate you because of my mission trip. You've always been an entertaining and quality poster and I hope you can make more milestone threads and have more great experiences on vizzed!
