Right, so I'll start with ones I've already done in previous competitions. Just the links this time since my embeds messed up the last time I tried.

Everyone's taking all the Tim Follin songs. (I even see one from his brother Geoff Follin in the post right before mine.) I don't like this. Luckily they haven't taken this one, so I guess I'll use it.

Another Tim Follin song. A lot of people have used songs even from this specific game, but no one has done the high score theme yet. Or if they have, I uploaded it first.

Even more Tim Follin. This time, a conversion of an arcade game. The music is basically straight from the arcade game, but remixed enough to be a very different, and much better, soundtrack.

*gasp* Something not from Tim Follin! This one's by a Dutch guy called Jeroen Tel who is often mentioned in a similar breath to the British Tim Follin. I've used the NES version instead of the original (and slightly better) C64 game, because recording C64 games is a lot harder than recording NES games last I remember trying it. Also because C64 games don't count as David's just told me.

And now for my final NES theme, a song I don't actually know the composer of. This was a bit tricky to record since the song starts right as the game loads, but it was worth it because this song is amazing. Sunsoft's NES games had a lot of great music, and in my opinion this is their best soundtrack on the system.

I hope this counts. Yes, I'm using another Robocop 3, this time for the Master System. However, this is a different game, and more importantly, it has a completely different soundtrack than the NES version. There's not a lot of good VGM on the Master System, to be honest, but this is pretty good.
(*I'll remove this if it doesn't count. I don't know the rule in cases like this. To clarify, this is a port of the SNES game, which was similar to but not exactly the same as the NES version. In my opinion this counts as a different game.)

One of the strange things about the Master System is how much the Brazilians loved it. Game consoles have always been expensive in Brazil, so until well into the N64 and PS1's lifetimes, the Master System remained the console of choice. Sega actually supported this, and licensed ports of 16-bit games to their system so the Brazilian market could still enjoy relatively new games. (Unlike the NES, which did see ports like this for similar reasons, but they were mostly unlicensed hacks from China.) This is one of them, a port of Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, which features a brilliant remix of the SNES game's title theme that takes advantage of the dated system's limitations.
