21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Do you you honestly think this wont be you?

The assurance of salvation is written in the Bible in 1 John 5:11-13.

    "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life."


Also,

    “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
(Romans 10:9)

In addition, Ephesians 2:8-10 reads:

    “ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."


Also,

    “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”
(Jeremiah 17:10)

There is more to say about these verses though. These verses warn about those who think they are in the faith, that they are part of Jesus' side, when they are in fact not. They thought that they belong to Jesus' side, yet Jesus went as far as to say that He doesn't even know them. So there are two sides to this issue: The Bible talks about how those who are saved will know that they are saved, and that it would be apparent in their lives and in their relationship with God and their relationship with sin (Good tree will bare good fruit). On the other hand, there are those who are false converts and they are deceived or confused in thinking that they are. That's why the Bible also urges people to continue to examine themselves to see if they are in the faith.
