The date was still 13/5-2015 by vizzed central time. Zlinqx was waiting for his next bomberman tournament match. This week instead of going against others you were supposed to team up with your opponent and go against the CPU. Zlinqx had already done so earlier that day and won with 5-0.

But things started to feel odd... To pass the time before his next match Zlinqx was reading a just completely stupid buzzfeed article I mean just really stupid something about how you know you're a 90s kid. Suddenly however he tried to refresh the page and everything stopped loading the computer stopped working and Zlinqx panicked he couldn't get the computer to shut down and it essentially just froze.

Time passed and it was time for his netplay match.

Vanelan soon after it was supposed to start got worried.

He tried to summon Zlinqx in the week thread "It's game time. I'm gonna need your help here... Where are you? :/"

Soon after Zlinqx tried to contact vanelan and through his mobile he told Vanelan what was going on with his laptop. Vanelan agreed to be willing to wait for a bit. And nothing seemed to work but then finally, vanelan suggested just holding down the power button to make Zlinqx's laptop force shut down.

Something Zlinqx had tried before but which hadn't worked it did this time though oddly enough.

He rushed to turn the computer back on, exclaiming "It's working, IMMA COMING" but little did he know that douchebag windows 7 had scheduled an update as soon as he got it to restart. So it was delayed further...

But then finally he was on, after having some problems starting firefox he finally got to the match, it was time, they agreed this time they would be able to do it. They would win 5-0.

They picked their characters, Zlinqx being the old sage and vanelan being the lady bomber with that adorable pink bow tie, it's so cute...

*Ahem* Anyways

They were going to go up against 3 cpus. A blue kamikaze bomber, a red bookworm bomber, and last and least a green big ol fatty bomber.

The match started they got off to a good start winning the 1st trophy and getting the 1-0 lead...

But then... Everything went downhill.

They lost, and it tied 1-1, then the bombers ganged up on Zlinqx and Vanelan and it went from 1-2 to 1-3 and then finally... 1-4. It seemed that the avatars affected their behaviors and made them unexpectedly difficult for the two to overcome...

Vanelan blamed it on himself but Zlinqx said that he shouldn't and they will be able to overcome this.

Finally when the potentially final round started Zlinqx paused. And said to vanelan that they needed a strategy, they agreed to try a strategy where they stay far away from each other and the other bombers...

They started and managed to get 2-4 and even 3-4. After that the next round started,

 Zlinqx made a mistake and got killed. Vanelan as the only one up against the blue kamizake bomber with a dino and that damn suicidal green fatty bomber. The odds seemed slim. Zlinqx cheered on and offered advice to Vanelan. And somehow Vanelan managed to do it, he beat them and it was now 4-4.

Now it was getting intense, Vanelan exclaimed "game point" this was it, the things legend were made of, would they be able to conquer it and win like they always do in the movies? With anticipation they started the last round. It went well, the big green ol fatty bomber started by committing suicide as he usually tends to and it was now 2v2. Things went well and it looked like they were going to win Zlinqx even being able to get a dino early on even if one of the opponent had as well. But then something happened...

Zlinqx couldn't control his bomber it went opposite of where he wanted it to go. At first he thought he had been hit with a bad power up but that wasn't it.


Zlinqx's game crashed after walking into a corner. He panicked, he tried frantically to get back to the action, this was the deciding round he couldn't be absent... But alas it just froze... a few minutes later he managed to shut the window down and restart the browser, knowing it was most likely already decided by now he rushed back to the netplay room... He joined the session and what he would see was a piece of gaming history.

He was greeted by a victory screen for the old grandpa bomber and lady bomber... Vanelan had done it, he had on his own bested the two CPU bombers and singlehandly won the game for them.

It was incredible, the two had made an incredible comeback and managed to win a game against the CPU many people are able to win singlehandedly 5-0, who would've thought???!!!

As such Zlinqx exclaimed "VANELAN MVP" and that day 13/5 should be forever known as VMVP day short for "VANELAN MVP day" to commemorate the incredible comeback they managed to make.

THIS WAS AND STILL IS THE STUFF LEGENDS ARE MADE OF.

So now to celebrate the first annual VMVP day.

Vanelan : You're really giving me too much credit you pretty much won those 2 last rounds singlehandedly, I may have come up with a plan but you were the one who was able to put it into motion.

It is called Vanelan MVP day for a reason... Well partly because I said so but you get the point

becerra95 : I can see where you're coming from I honestly just intended for it to be a fun little joke. And at the time it really seemed as epic as I'm trying to make it seem (okay maybe I exagurated just a teeny bit :p).
