My favorite Nintendo console is the Nintendo 64. It really revolutionized some of the franchises we cherish today. Plus it successfuly introduced nintendo franchises to 3D, and did an awesome job.

Ok, my best Nintendo console. It is tough because I have played every Nintendo console from the NES to the Wii (I haven't played the Wii U yet, but I will end up playing the Wii U at the end of this month). But for my favorite Nintendo has to be the Super Nintendo, the reason why is that is my favorite, it has a huge library such as my most favorite game that is part of a bundle of games (Super Mario 3 on All-Stars) and my 2nd most favorite game which is Super Mario World, and with those 2 games alone makes the SNES console to my point of view as being the best Nintendo console I have played so far.

I have to agree with you and say the Nintendo 64. It had a rather small library (especially compared to it's rival system, the PlayStation), but the games it did have really revolutionized things. Plus it had some of the best games ever made in my opinion such as Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Paper Mario, and Winback. Some of those games shaped the entire future of their genre, and all of the first party titles defined what Nintendo would become. To me this is when Nintendo finally gained their own identity beyond "those people that make Mario games".

Also the system introduced us to Mario Golf/Tennis/Party, so I have to love it.

Had I read this six months ago I would have said the GameCube, but now that I own one of my own GCs, I have to say the N64 was better as far as games go.

I think I have played just about every Nintendo console there is...from the original NES all the way through the Wii U. I know I have played them all, not necessarily owned them all.

If I had to pick favorite, there is no doubt in my mind it would be the NES. I have played said console the longest out of any console I've played. I first played it when I was like 5 years old I think, and I'll keep playing it probably forever XD The N64 is really cool to play too, but I give it a close second. My favorite game from it is definitely Tecmo Super Bowl, and there's no way I'm about to explain why except for the fact that I love everything about it and the same could also be said about the console.

SNES hands down, had a lot of my favorite games and what really made me into the gamer am I today. I remember the first game I was seriously stuck on for years/truly wanted to beat which was Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past.

I had accidentally deleted my cousins save on it and promised him to make it up to him by beating it again but I got stuck on getting the Super bomb I had searched the dark world 200x over all except for Link's house which made me mad when I figured this out years later when I replayed it.

I would say the SNES since many of my favorite games come from its library, but I've never actually owned one so IDK how the controller feels and stuff.
I'm gonna go with the Gamecube. It had some really fantastic games, its size and shape was convenient for storage, and that little handle was cute. I think it can also be argued that its controller is one of the best of all time. The fact that it is still used more than a decade later and Nintendo is making adapters for their new console is really telling. I don't think that the system or the controller was perfect by any means - the mini-discs were a pain, the octagonal and tiny C-stick was silly, I wish there was some sort of indicator to distinguish where the analog triggers' click was, etc. - but I still think it is a fantastic console and I revisit it more frequently than any other post-16-bit console.

It's really hard to choose, but I would probably go with ranking them in this order

NES - Huge Library of games, and really the system that revolutionized Home console gaming
SNES - Another great system. If I could have a tie for first, this would tie the NES
Gameboy - Revolutionized Gaming on the go. Has a HUGE library of great games
Gameboy Advance - Took what the GB did and made it better.
N64 - Although I like several games on this console Like OOT, 007, Conkers and Mario It's just not in my top few Nintendo Consoles
Wii - What I liked about this system is that they supported the classics that you could download. Had some great titles, but overall I'm not a fan of motion controls

Gamecube - I just could never get around to fully loving this console. Has some games I really enjoy, but overall it is not among my favorites.

I wont even bother including the Virtual boy, and the Wii U is too young to really rank.

I don't think I could ever choose that. Almost all of Nintendo's consoles (basically all except virtual boy) have some seriously amazing gems. It would be hard to pick any single one because each of them have several big reasons why they are fantastic.

Does this include handhelds? In that case, it's the DS for me. If not, the Wii would take the top spot. As many bad gimmick games there were, there were truly great ones like Kirby, Sonic Colors, Mario, and Smash Bros.

My personal favourite Nintendo Console would be the SNES because of all the great first party games on it. A very close contender would be the 3DS, as it has allowed me to play games which I have never experienced before from present and past consoles, such as OoT and MM3D...neither of which I played before their 3DS releases.

I've changed my mind about this question many times since I have had 3 Nintendo consoles in my lifetime and I've played a lot of them on emulators as well!

My favorite console by Nintendo is the Wii U. I love how it can be both a TV system and a handheld, thanks to the Wii U Gamepad! Also, the HD graphics blow me away!

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
