As promised, the Dreamcast games in the Retro Game Room will cost 0 Viz and be accessible to everyone for the rest of the month (which is about 3 1/2 days). The games that you play during this time will not be added to your profile and you will have to pay Viz for them later if you want to play them again.

Keep in mind though that the Dreamcast games can currently only be played with a controller so be sure to plug one in before starting up the games. If you're having troubles downloading a DC game (example, it stops or gets really slow), try it again later or simply try another game. Dreamcast games require a somewhat powerful computer so it's possible that they will not work on your computer. You'll need DirectX 9 installed on your computer which you can get here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35. Lastly, you need RGR Plugin 2.11 or later which you can get here: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=8676.

Starting next month, Dreamcast games will require the Beta Test Ticket again which costs 10,000 Viz and can be purchased from the Item Shop. The games will also be back to their normal price which can range anywhere between 250 - 750 Viz so be sure to take advantage of this offer in the final days of "Dreamcast Month".

Special Offer! If you take at least 100 unique screenshots of Dreamcast games between now and the 1st of next month, I'll send you 20,000 Viz which is enough for the Beta Test Ticket and enough to play plenty of Dreamcast games! This is a great opportunity to be able to continue playing games after this month if you're low on Viz. Those 100 screenshots can be in just 1 game or spread among many games, just as long as each screenshot is unique from your other screenshots and unique from the screenshots already submitted to the Dreamcast games. Once you've taken all 100 screenshots, let me know in this thread.

Davideo7: Questions. Is it currently necessary to have a powerful computer, so Dreamcast games will work better? Can I download the DirectX program in order to play the Dreamcast games or do I need both things? (the powerful computer and the program).

8bitNESPlayer : It might work for you, doesn't hurt to try it out. It's really hard to know what specs exactly are needed so I just always say that it needs a somewhat powerful computer to avoid users getting mad at me when it doesn't work on their computer.

Less than 24 hours left until Dreamcast games go back to their original price so be sure to take advantage of this if you haven't already.

Davideo7 : Do the screenshots have to be taken from the Dreamcast emulator on here? Because I'm currently still trying to figure out how to be able to use my ps3 controller on my PC so it would be easier for me to get the screenshots with another emulator temporarily. But I guess I'm already too late anyway? Unless the screenshots can still be added the whole first of May?
